The hawthorn trees are finally in full bloom, and the meadows of buttercups are glorious. The landscape around here really does look its best at this time of year.

The birds are settling into their nests and the last of the migrants have passed, so unless our local Antipodeans choose to pick things up in October, this will serve to close the "Signs of Spring" thread for the year. See you next spring. :flower:

Snow.
Here, spring means a ton of snow. Winter gets a bit, but spring piles it up at your door.

The Indian Wells tennis tournament is in full swing and Federer, Nadal and Nishikori were winners yesterday.

A small group of varied thrushes showed up on our fence a few days ago. And my dad has been out catching crabs and delivering them around to his family :heart:
