I'm going to try to edit that, so it's easier to watch. I always forget how to post it right.

Only had to work a few hours in the morning. Nice way to get back into the work grind

Today is garbage day and I already went picking and got a nice long low cabinet. It may be missing one of it's two doors but I can put stuff in it and it was free. If I decide it's too ugly for the dining room I can always put it on the porch. It's still early in the day so maybe I can pick some more good stuff later. The top looks a little funny because it's still damp from me washing it. I think I'm going to find something nice to hang over the 2 parts that I had to glue back on so they don't show.

I suspect that it came out of an unoccupied apartment next door that they are fixing up but it could have been from the occupied one too.

I got other nice things in the past like a dresser, a nice large wicker chest, and my coffee table which is really big and heavy and has nothing wrong with it at all. I have a friend that used to get all their sofas from the garbage. Once I found her one that was a bit small and light and delicate but it looked like it was practically new. Once I found a nice long winter coat that probably was expensive and the only thing wrong with it was a tiny rip in the lining.

My Aunt recently found a microwave and it worked.

I threw out several cages before I moved and no matter what shape they were in pickers snatched those right up. I still have a few extra cages left in case I need them. I have rats and mice.

Where I live we usually get lots of pickers that take anything good that gets thrown out. It makes me feel a little better when I throw things out knowing that they will probably go somewhere and get used and not go to the dump. I'm a bit of a hoarder.

I've found two full cases of empty Coke cans outside my lobby door around noon, so I took them onto my porch and emptied the boxes into a bag that I still have open. :)

Got the last of my online-ordered Christmas presents in the mail today, said presents being Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Applejack figures with brushable hair. My collection is rounded out by Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie, whom I got for my birthday. I'm going to post pics of my collection in the "post your wares" thread after I get done styling their hair to be more show-accurate.

stall at unsw info day for SAlt. i love doing stalls they are oodles of fun though we know we weren't supposed to be there but we managed to dodge security for ages so it was ok. one of my comrades met someone who didnt gravitate to our stall because we were running a marriage equality petition but on the basis that we were socialists, declared himself anti-capitalist "definitely. always." and went on to talk to my comrade about trotsky, lenin, marx and chomsky & world events. it really makes our day when crap like that happens. and he was a highschooler too. and unsw is reputed to be staunchly apolitical so he's a diamond.

That show is so wrong, yet so funny.
