Do you use chiropractic practitioners.

I see a Chiropractor who uses some sort of little thumping tool rather than her hands (marginal help), a Masseur (excellent), and a PhD Osteopath who also does acupuncture (triple excellent).

I swear by sacro-cranial osteopathy if you find the right person who can do it properly. Minimum touching and no moving hands about - just a light pulsing. Fixed my slipped disc problems over a period of about 3 months.

I've had that done as well. I agree you don't want just anyone to mess with your neck / skull but it does help. I have a problem with TMJ and tinnitus and he really helps me.

Did you ever disco dance in a club?

In the late 60s I was (barely) old enough to go to clubs and dance. But go I did! Someone said what a good dancer I was and I quickly lied that I was attending "The Eden School of GoGo"

What is your favourite music to dance to?

Something where I can pogo if there are other people around! (although that's rare for me -- I mean concerts etc).
I'd love to do 1950s dances but I never learned them.

Have you had your tarot cards read?

I feel so old LOL....all those songs you folks mentioned were from late high school/early 20's.

I've had my tarot cards read----but I forgot what was preordained.

Do you believe in tarot cards?

My friend (holiday host) does tarot cards and takes it very seriously. I have to sleep with them under my pillow in a little cloth bag first lol. I think it's a little silly but harmless and fun. I never remember the readings, either.

Have you been to a regular psychic who just knows things without tarot?

I've known people that believed in tarot.....but it was rare that I got a "reading."

Some songs on the radio I remember when I went to the beach with my father: late 60s/early 70s

1. "Let the sideshow begin"--Stylistics (that was actually a little later).

2. "Spill the Wine"--War

3. "Did I blow your mind, didn't I?"--Delfonics

4. Some Howard Melvin and the Blue Notes songs.

5. Smiling Faces--Undisputed Truth

Lots of "soul" songs in there. Though I listened to lots of rock and roll on WABC on the radio. That was what we called it. "Rock and Roll" nowadays is mostly confined to 50's/early 60s-type songs. Back then, it included ALL rock-type songs.

Did you listen to the top 100 songs of the year on the transistor radio?

OMG yes I did. I did! (squeal) That's one of my favourite childhood memories! It was always on New Year's Eve on my little radio! The big count down of music! One year I heard New Kid in Town (The Eagles) and it was snowing and I was making a birdhouse. It's imprinted on me. I used to love that so much.

Thanks for sharing your dad's songs. Have you listened to them lately? (I remember you listened to Spill the Wine).

I like listening to that late 60s/early 70s soul stuff. And Motown, of course.

Do you know "I really love my mama" by the Intruders?

I was such a stupid kid---I was a little afraid to watch Soul Train. But I remember the Afro Sheen commercials.
