I can type fast.
I learned on the old style typewriters.

Do you know of the floppy disk?

Yes. I was around for the 5 inch "true" floppies as well as their smaller, sturdier forms.

Same query.

After many many years of typing my speed is still below 30wpm. I don't have to look at the keyboard any more though...

I well remember floppy discs. Windows 3.1 came on 3 floppy disks - I know because on getting my first home computer I uninstalled the operating system - to reinstall it, and found that disk number 6 was missing!! I think it is amusing that the symbol for 'Save' is a floppy disk icon and all the youngsters would never even have seen one! I worked in an office years ago where they had a 'mainframe' and punchcards.

English, except in Grade 11 and 12.

Do you like typical heroes or anti-heroes?

Hmm probably anti-hero BUT if they're not the generic emotionless White Man with a dark past. :D

I did best in English, although I always enjoyed Trig, Algebra and Physics.
I did terribly in Biology and Chem.

Anti-heroes for sure.

Happy ending or ambiguous ending?

I'm fine with ambiguous endings but if they seem to end very abruptly with major plot points unresolved in my mind, I don't like that. There was a movie called Two-Lane Blacktop with James Taylor and Dennis Wilson that comes to mind.

How many words per minute can you type? Have you ever tried one of those free WPM testers?

Off to my walk!.....

There's ambiguous endings in books I read 20 years ago that still drive me nuts today.
So I'll go for happy.
Tho I like tragic too.

Do full moons have any affect on you?

Heck yes. It affects both me [even worse insomnia, fatigue, and so forth] and my cat [becomes wild and high strung].

same question

My mother recently told me that she could predict my moods by the moon. I was apparently restless and prone to emotional meltdowns close to full-moon time. Somehow I never heard this until now, and to be honest I don't know if it's true. Half the time I don't even look at the moon to know its stage, but my mother said I respond regardless. I've actually been calm all this week, so who knows?
