That looks like India...............sad to see whats going on over there. :(

Wish i had some nice flora at home, it would liven the place up a bit. It would add some colour.

We have harsh winters here, so the roads gets covered with
sand and salt some places all winter long. Salt 8O
So, we drive around in this salty wet stuff for
months and end up with this:

holy crap 8O theres some guys running a buisness not far from me
were they rustproof cars, and they see 6 month old cars out of the
factory with massive rustdamage 8O
Luckily they are testing other things to replace
the salt because this sucks and gets expensive
fast - and i`m pretty sure the nature along side
the roads aren`t to fond of ton after ton of salt
being dumped

rust is a disease in metal. theres no way to stop it, my iron nickle meteorite rusts more in the summer time here because of the monsoons

Yes rust is a tuff one, and driving around in a pool of salty
water really speeds things up 8O alot of cars are delivered
from the factory with non or almost non rustproofing at all,
so we have to get them rustproofed before using them, if
not they just rust to hell in a few winters time - not the
entire car but the underside of it and wheelarches

It just amazing how fast the rust takes over
after first getting a hold.

Now they have actually been testing a mix of sand
and some sort of warm corn syrup oil or someting
weird like that, dont remember the name, read
something about it being a success, hope so,
salt is just riddicolous

Maybe that's what they are trying here? It's some sort of liquid stuff that I've seen them using lately, but I have no idea what it's made from. :chin:

suposidly transmission fluid slows the rusting process down, and i have yet to try it with my meteorite. obviously i like breathing oxygen but i hate the atmosphere otherwise

Any type of oil will help. Maybe try giving it a coat of WD40(or similar) every so often? It's less messy than tranny fluid, and easier to apply. :)

Thats what everyone used around here when i was a kid
i remember, just regular motoroil sprayed under the car,
some still use it on old dirtcars and things like that, works
great but not very friendly on nature and things like that
