OOOOHH!! ! You are Deviant!! That's soo good! May I print a copy? I meant to commend you on the Cat Land sketch but didn't get into Emily character to do so!

Question: ladybugs or moths?

Same q about the moths vs ladybugs

I'm impressed by that watercolor, Feeli0!

I'll say sketching for me too, but I'm horrible at it. Funny you should have that as a question, Isabella, several days ago I had an urge to dust off a drawing pad and a bevy of different graphite drawing pencils and start to watch some Youtube vids on sketching 101. I got pretty discouraged......

I don't mind moths at all. Some are beautiful like the Luna moth. Most moths don't have mouth parts so they can't eat, drink or bite.

Have you ever developed and printed your own photos?

I like and used to collect them -- both ladybugs and white moths.

Delete the link now if you'd like. I'll find it on my own.

roses or tulips?

Thanks Magna. Don't get discouraged, press on. You are probably your worst critic.

No I have never developed my own photos, I do all digital now but used to do film photography. I have an obsession with photographing birds - you can't get much more difficult - and many expensive lenses later and I am no nearer to the perfect shot. I never learned to do all that darkroom stuff, it probably would be fascinating.

Same question keen to know if others have...

Oh yes. Photography was a major of mine in college. I not only developed my own film, I made my own photo paper using high quality cotton rag paper. I had my own 4x5 view cameras that I took on location for nature photography including tripod, light meter, black cloth over the head. It was a fun experience.

Same q for anyone else.

You'll love the scenes of Claire and Billy in the darkroom (SFU).

I have printed my own digital photos at a shop or online but not myself, and never in a darkroom.

Wow, I'm impressed Magna.

no questions, just reading

Thanks for the sketching encouragement, Feeli0.

I was rather Rimbaud-ish about my photography, Isabella. I closed the chapter of that part of my life and never picked up a camera again. I loved it while I did it but then moved on.

Name some of your favorite poets.

No one really argued; we were all just kind of mute and dysfunctional together. The simmering discontent came from people's different value systems, attitudes toward social equality, work ethics and alcoholism.

same q (I always love your questions)

My family argues religion. It gets very heated.

When we were young we didn't argue very much - we played games together and any arguments were game related. Now we are older and braver we dig at each others atheism/Christianity whichever side we're on. Try and avoid it though.

However, I argue with my sister a lot all the time but that's not an all in family thing. We can make an argument from nothing. When I say 'we' I mean 'she'. First comes the loaded question, "Do you like M's new haircut?" which if not enough enthusiasm is shown, or the wrong facial expression or whatever turns into me not supporting her children, and what about their deceased father and blah blah blah. That's not a family issue that's a 'her' problem. I just tune her out unless she is being reasonable.

Same Q its an interesting one.

I tend to argue with my mom how the people can make some very irrational decisions which can lead to devastating outcomes, yet nothing is impossible to resolve, that is if people actually use their critical analysis skills to choose actions that have benevolent effect.

Are there places, you wished you could literally return to?

Sometimes. Like where I go to meet up with my boyfriend. Usually it's places I've felt good and/or healthy at.
I liked a city in Florida.

Do you ever feel stuck?
