I sometimes watched CNN when something special happened (like 9/11), it didn't drive me nuts. We no longer have the channel, and while I don't miss it, I had no problems with the (very few) news I watched there. Never watched or had access to Fox.

What is your favorite TV channel?

Space channel, but only because Doctor Who is on it.

How do you like you noodles/pasta prepared?

I love sleeping cats (and cats in general).

For fun, I like to watch and play tennis.

I never had any problems with flying. I never got airsick, but I did get terribly carsick.

I find the news depressing at times.

Favorite T.V. Channel-The Tennis Channel, medical-related channels and Animal Planet (Too Cute, Cats 101)

I like my noodles/pasta al dente.

What is your favorite breed of cat or dog-or both, if you have both?

During my middle school years, my math teacher and my foreign language teacher loved giving misfits like me a hard time for different reasons; one common reason is that both teachers saw misfits as a threat to the school's atmosphere.

Same question.

I had a history teacher in high school who was also a coach for the basketball team. He was notorious for being one of the most difficult teachers. For that grade, there were two history teachers. Each student was randomly assigned one or the other for the year. He taught nothing other than straight memorization of historical facts. There was no instruction on why things happened or what the context was. His final exam was infamous.

When he passed the final exam out to each of us and I was holding my copy, I exclaimed: "You've got to be kidding me!" The bundle of stapled papers was over an inch thick and we only had the hour. I think he said something about how only a very small number of students were able to finish the exam in the allotted time, which really irritated me. I forgot almost everything learned in that class. Terrible teaching method.

Talk about a favorite teacher of yours. Why did you like them?

That's a tough one. I really loved my middle school gifted teacher, because she got us and actually tolerated me, even when I was at the point where I had no real control over my autism. In terms of high school though, I really loved all of my history teachers, especially my US history and AP Gov teacher. My US teacher because he was just such a cool guy that I could relate to and be friends with and my AP Gov teacher because she was such a sweet old lady that I really liked. Tough to explain. And I was her TA for a semester too.

In a similar vein, who was your least favorite teacher?

A high school teacher who taught biology. He was fond of animals and even gave my dog a little package of dog food for his 10th birthday. He wasn't very good dealing with social situations in class, and he would tell the lamest jokes, but he was smart and fun to talk to, and always nice, very gentle. He was very well liked, which is quite a feat in high school.

My favorite teacher was my high school French teacher. She was probably 40 at the time. She was attractive but she had never been married. She was positive and encouraging. She had a pleasant sing-songy voice. I felt like she had a genuine interest in my learning and in me as a person. I excelled in French as a result. I may have had a slight crush on her.

Whose personality is more like yours: Your Mom or your Dad?

Definitely my Mom. Interestingly my sister and Dad's personalities are virtually identical. They both stress me out.

My mom. I tend to be really introspective and hole away just like her. Although that might have more to do with my ASD than anything else. Also my dad does things I could never do, like doing drugs all day.

My favorite teacher was definitely my high school English teacher. He was an inspiration to me.

I wish I had inherited more from my parents. I would be much better off today if I did. However, I do believe I inherited my mom's love of animals and her interest in learning about the world.
