In movies I'm confused by anything beyond a family and some type of extra character like a teacher or a boss.
There has to be a house or I can't follow it (no spaceships, etc.)

In books I'd say I've dealt with around ten at a time, but I take notes and draw mind maps while I read.

Yeah anything more than 10 and I can't really handle it.
Are you any good at multi-tasking?

Yes.

Asan entertainer my brain was always going a mile a second and changing routines.

Also working with teens and administrators I got pulled in many directions at once.

I have to do one thing at a time. My brain works in a very methodical manner. I've gotten better at multi-tasking from alt-tabbing all the time, but I still suck.

I say "I love you" or "thinking of you" to family and friends all the time. Like many people with pets, I said "I love you" to them every day.

Speaking of cats, my favorite authors were cat lovers: Lillian Jackson Braun, Rita Mae Brown, Cleveland Amory and Mark Twain, to name a few.

I am generally bad at multitasking. I can do multiple things in a day, but in a normal sequence, not everything at the same time.

Multiple characters in a book, especially if you can't tell the players from the proverbial scorecard, really confuse me.

For those who like to read, what book was the most boring one you ever read?

....anything by Jane Austen (I haven't finished any of them), and I found parts of The Tenant of Wildfell Hall went in circles. I didn't like its narrative technique. I can't say it was boring because the dramatic parts were very well done, but it was certainly tedious.

Joseph Conrad and Henry James were probably two of the most boring authors I have ever read. They put me to sleep.

What is your favorite topic to read about?

Because it's one of my special interests, WW2 history.

lol I actually thought of Heart of Darkness

My favourite topic besides Brontë information and genealogy (which are linked for me), is likely WW2 as well. I don't enjoy military strategy, just social histories.

For those who like to read, what book was the most boring one you ever read?
John Steinbeck: Of mice and men (DNF)
Any Shakespeare I've tried to read (DNF)
Knut Hamsun: Victoria (had to read for school, slowly managed to yawn my way through it)

Shockingly there are two Stephen King novels on that list too; Needful things and Cujo. (DNF and finished with yawn; too many pages for too short a story; Cujo would have made an okay short story).

I'm sure there are other books that could be named but that I've forgotten about.

What is your favorite topic to read about?

I like thrillers, horror, sci-fi, dystopian, fantasy/ urban fantasy, Pokemon manga. Some general themes I like in my fiction are:
1. some people start changing, and don't seem themselves anymore, like in Jack Finney's "The Body Snatchers" and Mike Lancaster's "0,4" and "1,4".
2. someone dies or disappears and their spouse/ kid/ sweetheart/ parent try to find answers only to realize they didn't know the person as well as they thought (think thriller, and works best with spouses/ others who got to know each other in adult age and can't know each other's history)
3. identical twin has to take her sister's place to find out where she is/ how/why she died, or identical twins swap places.

Out of those options, Of Mice and Men definitely. I had to cover that book five times in English, wasn't a fan.

I love fantasy and speculative fiction. Especially books that include;

- Fish out of water stories, particularly ones where the sane character has to make sense of an insane and unfamiliar fantasy world. I love it when all the other characters shrug and think the sane one is odd for reacting in the way they do. For example:

Person A: HOW IS THIS HAPPENING? DID THAT PERSON JUST TAKE FLIGHT AND SUMMON A MAGICAL STORM?!?!

Character B: Well yeah, um, have you not seen that happen before or something?

Person A: Of course I haven't!

Character B: In that case, maybe you need to get out more.

For the person below, if you could have one superpower (and only one!) what would it be?

I like to read Koans.
Though I don’t always understand them the make me smile.

I also like Stephen King - though had trouble with The Tower.

I was surprised recently when the Dali Lama while speaking of Ethics being taught in the schools , droppped s “F” bomb.”

Unseen characters like Ayn Rand’s John

Galt are intriguing. Wrinkle in time has been read many times by this Reader & Righter over the years. I finally saw the movie with my wife.

I also read or listen to the Bible daily.
Acts is one of my favorites.
What is a title you’d like to read.
Here in is in simple animation of Acts.

In terms of books that bored me, basically anything Shakespeare is just a chore to hack my way through. I tried reading through of Mice and Men, but I just couldn't.

In terms of superpowers, either teleportation or telekinesis would be what I'd go for. I like the idea of reducing my travel time to nothing, because I could wake up a lot later and you know, traveling to other countries etc. Telekinesis would be cool in and of itself. Not to mention that I could make cleaning well anything a lot less time consuming. I was thinking of telepathy, but I don't want to find out other people's thoughts without a filter.

Also a really big fan of both utopian and dystopian sci-fi. I recently started reading a book on a bunch of possible dystopian futures too.

What's your favorite animal and why?

The Crane, as it's graceful in it's movements and peaceful & serene.

Do you struggle with social interactions from time to time?
