I'm not a picky eater but I live with three of them from somewhat picky to extreme.

My favorite Thanksgiving food? All of it! It's actually one of my special interests. I do all of the cooking and all of it from scratch. Stuffing for example: I don't just assemble it, I bake the bread from scratch, cube it and dry it. I make the broth for the stuffing from scratch. Only fresh herbs, grated whole nutmeg. That's just the stuffing. I will be very busy tonight and VERY busy tomorrow! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I'm Thankful for Alex, the mods, WP and all of YOU!

Have you ever touched a wild animal?

What time shall I arrive? That sounds delicious, Magna! I'm very impressed!

Wild animal: in the wild? I'd have to think on that.

It's a Planes, Trains and Automobiles type of day. Del Griffith forever!

I really admire Magna for being such a thorough chef.

Who did Del Griffith play?

Never touched a wild animal.

Do you enjoy parades?

Sadly, though, Isabella, you wouldn't like the atmosphere since the whole house will be thick with cooking smells. Bring a nose filter (?) and ill set an extra plate.

I touched a chipmunk that became trusting enough to take peanuts from my hand. I couldn't resist trying to pet it once. It bit my hand and never came back. I was probably eight at the time.

I do not like parades.

What kind of earplugs do you use? I'm always looking for the "perfect" kind. I ordered two different types I've never used before. We'll see how they work.

Del Griffith was a character played by John Candy in Planes, Trains. The sad guy who sold shower curtain rings. :(
I think I need to watch that today.

I love to watch parades. My father was quite obsessed with them and with marching bands, so it rubbed off on me.

Wow, you remembered about me and cooking smells? It's mostly from roasted meat and poultry. I get migraines even when it smells good. The scent is just too long-lasting and seems to permeate my brain. Arggg. I usually arrive as the meal is served and then I can manage. If I've had to slow roast something myself I leave the house.

My earplugs are 33db. I'd have to check the brand. They're spongey.

Oh yeah...I liked that guy, too.

He was a lonely guy---but at least the Steve Martin character warmed up to him eventually.

Ever see King Tut, Disco Duck on Saturday Night Live?

Yes, I loved SNL and Steve Martin's characters.

Do you like Rosanna, Rosanna Danna?

She was all right.

She was making fun of a newscaster whose name was Rose Ann Scarmadella. She was one of the main anchor people on Channel 7, Eyewitness News, in the 1970s.

Have you ever formed a crush on an anchorperson? (I haven't)

No, I haven't. I don't develop crushes easily.

Have you ever been to the Poconos?

I've passed through them many times. I really haven't actually stayed there all that much. Some day, I want to stay in a cabin in the Endless mountains, which are north of the Poconos, and just south of the New York border.

Have you been to the Catskills?

Sorry, Ferris -- I couldn't help myself. It's all about the leopard print vest...

Puppet show: I've seen many with all sorts of puppets. Marionettes are fun.

Catskills: I don't think so, but I'd have to look at a map.

Do you like sushi?

Some sushi is okay.

The Catskills are about 80-120 miles northwest of NYC----but wholly within New York State. Some parts used to be part of the Borscht Belt, where "Dirty Dancing" took place.

Anybody been to Stansted Airport. It's actually in a nice area with lots of farms.
