marketers are bastards.

they think of ways to extract maximum dollars from a pocket without scruple.

i bought a packet of chocolate peanuts. i tried to open it and it was resistant.
i applied ever more force to rip apart the top seal in a gently increasing manner.
then, suddenly the whole bag tears apart and all the chocolate peanuts fall to the floor.
i see that as a marketing ploy.

but for me it is a self extinguishing ploy because i will never buy them again.
i am not going to run back to the shop thinking "i will buy another packet and use scissors next time".

i think "if you have designed a package with those sudden rip characteristics, then you have probably reduced the cost (therefore quality) of the ingredients of the contents of the package with similar disdain".

i have 12 chocolate peanuts to eat after i paid $2.40 for a 250g pack!!

i will spend more calories in my angst about them than i will get from eating them!! !

blasted bastard marketers!! !

Reading about a police officer in Ohio, USA that
wanted to learn his daughter to handle guns in
a safe way. So he does this and rounds up the
lesson with putting a bullet in his leg by accident,
right above the knee - there was a bullet in the
chamber he didn`t know about.

First i think; "omg! 8O what if the little girl
had pulled the trigger on herself, what an
idiot!"

Then i think; " he shot himself in the
leg with a 45 caliber glock while trying to
learn his kid gun safety...."

:lmao:

now i have a problem with eggs.

i am trying to boil some eggs to the point of "hard boiled".
i wish to let them cool slightly and then crack their heads off and make a hole in the hard yolk where i will insert a knob of butter which i will mix with the hard yolk and then spoon it into my mouth.
so yummy.

but every damned egg has exploded after 1 minute of boiling!! !
the shells are too brittle for some reason. maybe there is not enough calcium in their diet.
i eat only free range eggs.
what penny pinching measure led to every egg exploding?!?!?!?!?

so i can not have chocolate peanuts or my second choice of hard boiled eggs with butter!! !

this is the type of thing that promotes a melt down in me!

i paid for food that i can not eat!! ! ripped off again and again and again i am!! !!

i can not think of another snack idea as it is late at night, so i will just have to fore go the satiation of my hunger.

^All i know is that if i dont take a needle and
poke a hole in one end of the egg before
dropping it into boiling water, it explodes
due to pressure from whats inside
expanding fast due to the heat. So
i always poke a tiny hole before
boiling - no explotions then. Some
eggwhite will come out of the hole
but it solidifies fast in the water and
plugs the hole after releazing the
shell-cracking pressure.

surely that can not be "all you know"

but i did stab the last 8 eggs (of the dozen i had) with an egg stabber and they still busted.
they did not just bust, they disintegrated.
their structures failed so miserably that it was a pot of swirling shell fragments and yellow and white strands all wriggling unsavourily about in the convection.

an inedible mess.
i am calmer now but i did have an "episode" before and no one saw so i am glad.

"surely that can not be "all you know""

 no you`re right.

Sounds like you have a batch of very very
brittle eggs then - the farmer didnt get his
birds enough calcium maybe - happens
way too often

Something really crazy happend last night 8O
i fell asleep, then i suddenly wake up with a
terrible feeling somethings wrong. And then i
feel a muscle or something from my neck and
down towards my left shoulder feels like it is
beeing ripped in half, seriously 8O

Have no idea what it was, it was just incredibly
painful for about 6-7 minutes, i just rolled over
on my back and didnt manage to do anything
but swear and hold on - and i usually handle
pain ok, but this one stood out. It was just
insanly painful, luckily it let go after a few
minutes. Almost a burning sensation, like
someone was twisting something really hard
and pulling it at the same time 8O
Not that i think that was the case or anything,
just a comparison

You`re probably right - think it was the mother of
all muscle contractions or something if so 8O
had lots of those before, but this actually
made me loose my breath a little, for a
moment i was unsure if i had some sort of
massive problem going on and should do
something.

..come to think of it, left side neck and shoulder is
the same place i get these jolts or ticks or what its
called sometimes, maybe its something with that
