I'm confused, laugh. Are these things happening for you right now, or in the past?

Yes I've had the wrong words come out, especially after my stroke when I was groping for words / word salad.

All the time.
Happens a lot in my writing too.
Nothing worse than having to message someone back and explain what you really meant, especially if you tried to make a joke which only works with a particular word.

What cracks you up?

The video that a nice Australian bloke posted on WP, with husky dogs eating socks.

The Ellen Show, Jimmy Fallon, etc (essentially: celebrities being funny)
Also my dumbass friends, my cat, YouTube, and funny books.

What's the cutest thing you've ever seen?

My post were all in the past.

Things that happen in our home
unexpectedly.

Such as following the instructions to empty the new dysentery vacuum.

They left out put vacuum over trash before opening
I opened the dirt collector and a pile of mostly Lily our ragdoll cat hair fell onto the floor.

What simple word do you have trouble spelling or pronouncing?

I notice I have difficulty spelling the schwa sound on many words.
I had a lifelong issue spelling 'believe' because a teacher once made me write it as 'beleive' 100 times, for whatever reason.

Now I note that believe has a 'lie' in its midst.

Sheriff, Jennifer, barrel.

When was the last time you received a venipuncture?

I have routine venipuncture for my iron and ferritin levels because they're too high.
The last time was in August, I think. The procedure doesn't bother me in the least.

Hardly even heard of the procedure.

Do you like the "college campus environment?" With trees, grass, a quadrangle sort of arrangement of buildings.

The arrangement was pretty nice, but there were other aspects of the college campus environment I didn't like, and I am glad to be done with forever.

What was your favorite college class?

I wish I would have taken an Anthropology class. My favorite was probably "Chaucer and his Contemporaries."

I'm sorry you didn't find the "college campus" atmosphere totally delightful. I can understand why, though. I work in a college library--and I see the loneliness in some of the students.

I went to an urban/commuter college starting at age 36---so no "college experience" for me.

Same question.

That remains to be seen.

Have you ever fallen asleep in class?

A few times. One memorable time was when I was watching the production of a Greek play in a college English class.

The play was great, but the ambiance was too "comforting."

Same question.

My Uni was very collegiate and I lived on campus while earning both degrees. Yes, there was a quadrangle courtyard and several beautiful old buildings. The library was my favourite haunt as you can well imagine. I practically lived in the seventh floor stacks by a stained glass window.

My favourite class was a graduate level seminar in Rhetoric & Literary Criticism. I also loved my senior thesis Victorian Literature class, taken at the University of Toronto as a visiting student. My Drama class was fun too.

I have never fallen asleep in class because I can't sleep sitting up.
