I just went on a walk with a friend, and it's beautiful outside

The reaction to the presentation about AS was like a realization of why I ran away when threatened with hugs, avoided eye contact, almost always walked around campus alone, fled from loud noises, and stimmed when nervous.

My parents complimented me on the good job I did moping the house Thursday. Said the tiles are still shinning. I mixed a little degreaser & a dab of another cleaner in with the regular one because the floor was muddy in some spots & the kitchen was sticky. I cleaned floors for 25months at WalMart & other 2 jobs I had involved cleaning too so I should be good at it. I'd make a good house-husband if any women here are interested I'm just wanting someone to give me a chance who will try to make the relationship work with me

After dinner tonight, my mom came into my room and placed a dollar into my change jar. She claimed that she just felt like doing it because she wanted to help my funds grow. But why would she do that, when she had already given me some pocket change earlier in the day?

I think the real reason she did it was that she felt bad about a conversation we'd had earlier in the evening in which she said that the reason that she and dad don't share my love of cats is because her mom (who was a very cruel, miserable woman) loved cats more than people. I had gotten upset because I had felt that my mom was comparing me to her mom.

But I didn't hold it against my mom at all, though. In fact, by the time she'd placed the dollar in my jar, I had forgotten all about it. It wasn't until much later after she'd gone to bed that it suddenly dawned on me out of nowhere that that conversation was the real reason why she'd given the dollar to me. When I realized it, I came very close to crying because I was so touched by her act of kindness.
