Yes but ten years from now, 2018 will seem "innocent"

What kind of grudges do you hold?

I hold a grudge against my mom's ex husband for being a crackhead who lied to us, stole from us, physically assaulted my mom, and threatened to kill her.

I hold a grudge against my nephew's biological parents for abusing him, abandoning him and then messing with his head with emotional abuse throughout the rest of his life. We fostered my nephew and later adopted him, and it's an open adoption. I would never let him or the parents know my feelings but I can't forgive these people.

I also have a grudge against someone who is institutionalised for the way they treated me, but I'm learning to deal with that pain and put it behind me. Kind of.

same q

For a long time, I held a grudge against a teacher who called me stupid because I didn't know English and thought I had something wrong with me. I never really knew what was wrong until I was an adult, but I don't have a specific diagnosis. I just hope that teacher didn't ruin any more young lives.

Otherwise, I'm not one to hold grudges. I was determined not to let anyone think I was stupid.

Same q.

I hold grudges against people who hurt me by romanticing and idealizing me in their heads and left me when they faced the truth.

Was today a productive day for you?

Well, not yet! I've only been awake for an hour or two. I've managed to drink some tea, feed my cats and dog, and take some medication for my bronchitis. I'm getting my (real) Christmas tree later tonight with my brother so that will keep me busy. I'll be reading in the meantime.

How about you?

Hahah i forgot about timezones! I hope you get well soon, stay at home and take it easy for a few days. That's amazing that you have a real tree, i wish i had one too!

I went to a Street bazaar, cleaned the house a bit, hung around that discord server and that's about it! (Also about to go to a yoga lesson now)

Have you ever done yoga?

Yes, I've taken yoga classes (back in the 90s?) and I do a little yoga now on my own. It's been helpful post-stroke.

Do you play piano?

I took lessons when I was younger and learned to read music very well. I need to take it up again for fun.

Did you ever learn more than one musical instrument?

I didn't even learn one----unless you count the Triangle as an instrument

Do you make up stories while listening to classical music?

I can write stories while listening to music, but I can't just script them mentally. I'm not very creative at writing stories and I find poetry much easier because of word rhythm.

same q

(I'm currently listening to Ella & Louie).

I do not make up stories when I listen to classical.

What was your favorite candy as a child?

I've done this in the past.

Have you ever listened to West End Blues by Louis Armstrong? I find that it really tells a story.

Probably cherry lifesavers.

Anything that's chocolate. Always have, always will.

Same question.

I didn't like hard candy or anything spearmint / peppermint, and I wasn't big on chocolate. I really hated candy canes.

I used to wonder why there were chocolate bars but not vanilla bars?
I liked something called Fun Dip which was like kool-aid powder. Sounds nasty, now!

(but farewell, I'm going back to sleep!)

Sleep well, Isabella.

I used to like Froot Loops very much.

Do you remember a time when Kellogg's Frosted Flakes were called SUGAR Frosted Flakes?
