Nope. It’s #1. No thunderstorm yesterday. I do wish I could jitterbug well.

1) I went to Pike Place Market yesterday.

2) I went to the world's first Starbucks store yesterday.

3) I ate souvlaki in the park yesterday.

1 is your lie. Yummm .... souvlaki.

1. My friend is now four hours late.

2. My friend speaks three languages.

3. My friend wrote a dissertation on The Tango.

#2 I bet your friend speaks more than three languages.

My lie was #2. The original Starbucks store is in Pike Place Market, but I walked right by. Tourists line up around the block for it. Not exciting for me as a Seattle native. I was in London in '98 when the first Starbucks in the UK opened in Sloane Square and I did rush to it, however. A little piece of home.

No, 2 is my lie. He only speaks Spanish and English.

1) Once a lightning bolt hit a metre away from me.

2) Once I slept through a 4.4 earthquake.

3) Once I met Frank Bruno.

Number 3 for smudge, though I don't know who Frank Bruno is...

Frank Bruno is a British boxer of the 1980s and 1990s. He was the British champion. He lost to Mike Tyson at least once.

The lie is #2 for Smudge, I believe.

1) My father once tied me to a tree for four hours.

2) I crashed my father's car into a tree when I was four.

3) My father made me split four trees into firewood.

My father tied ME to a tree during a storm, but I've told that story too many times.

You're right. My dog is at the groomer and I'd normally stay with him, but I had to come home.
