That is also a possibility.

I switched on my old/standby pc and it immediately went bzzzzzz pop fizz.

Well at least I now don`t have to spend 5 days downloading updates.

I've been so sad for the past couple of weeks. My special interest in Tim Burton movies is completely gone now, and I have felt nothing but emptiness ever since. I've been searching far and wide for a new special interest, but nothing is "clicking" with me right now. I'm not happy unless I have something to obsess over, and I won't be happy until something new comes along to take my former interest's place. :(

My parents phone line is faulty so I was asked to make a phone call on my Mum`s behalf.
I called her doctor`s surgery to order medications and as I know they tend to make errors I made the message as clear and concise as possible.

My Mum just called to say 2 of the 3 items delivered by the chemist are WRONG.

I don't know why I should be shocked. I know people like this too.

My issue for the day (hopefully it's the only one!) is that someone renamed and rearranged everything on this project I'm working on. At first I thought it was a really annoying April Fool's joke, but no. They actually decided to rename and rearrange everything without my knowledge and then expect me to go in and do edits. I was really close to calling off for the day, despite needing the money.

Zen, well it seems the people I work around and those in your occupational must be cousins..Still, I hope you've managed to deal with the unpleasant persons...

Kinda ronery and want to interact with people, but it feels like too much effort formulating the words to type.
It would take the rest of my evening replying to just one PM :(

I have replaced my mattress and called the local clowncil to arrange collection of the old one - I also expected to have to pay for this service.

I refused to give my bank card details over the telephone but asked if they could raise an invoice, put it on their database then I could pay it via their payment system. I was told that would take 6 WEEKS to do and of course the mattress wouldn't be collected until payment had been made.

I have just made an 18 mile return journey to pay in cash. I could have dumped the mattress over my hedge into the park and reported some flytipping........that would have been easier and cheaper.

Join a few dating sites to make friends and cure boredom and loneliness.

Friends end up only messaging you once a month.

Why did I bother?

Why oh why do I even bother with trying to socialise since it always ends with the upset stomach, headache and general hate of life in general? Speaking generally of course. :wall:

I just found out that my sister, her husband, their 4 children and my Nana are coming to visit this summer. Also, there will be one week where my sister's kids will be staying in our house.

I'm not sure how I feel about all of this. On one hand I know I should be happy, but on another I just want to curl up and cry because of the sensory overload I'm going to experience. Also, I have this awful, nagging fear that the kids are going to give me the stomach flu when they stay over...
