Yesterday I messaged "leaving shortly" to a friend.

It wrote "leaving desirably" instead. :P 8)

I guess some may say the same about my favourite thing in the whole world, which is Grange Hill.

Another pet peeve: Others on WP not having the same interest in Grange Hill as I do!

Those people that are always positive and reassuring in a an insincere manner online/offline. Even when the problem is very serious, they say "It's going to be OK!". They can do that because they don't give a schit about the person having the problem. In other words, they are dismissing the problem by being insincerely reassuring.

Edit: fixed a wrong word

When people get mad at me for answering a yes or no question with an explanation on why.

Those toxic, self-righteous WP members that criticize, argue with and try to control other members' behavior. I see them arguing regularly. They must be blind to their own self-righteousness. The easy solution is to just ignore their posts. As unpleasant as they are, it's kind of entertaining to watch their self-righteous behavior, although I worry about their victims.

Grange Hill was good in the early 1980's but then it became all Politically Correct and it lost most of its grit.

When people answer my yes-or-no questions with explanations on ‘why’.

If I want to know ‘why’ I will ask ‘why’. Just tell me ‘yes’ or ‘no’.

It is like asking “How many people were there?”, and receiving a roster of names, what they were wearing, and to whom they were related. Just give me the gorram number, already!

I like the 70s and the 80s only. I have seasons 1-10 on DVD.

See how much PC can ruin things?

Indeed.

When asked for the correct time, one should avoid explaining the history of clockmaking.

Just say what time it is.

Setting the stations on digital radios.

I haven't used or had a radio in years, but I just got one and now I remember why I hate them.

*searches for radio with a tuning dial*

When people contradict NT and autism traits.

For example, one minute it's Aspies who follow all the rules and the NTs are the ones that break them because they're rebellious and dishonest. Then in another thread it's Aspies who are the ones that break the rules and the NTs the ones who follow rules.

Another example, when Aspies say NTs never give one-word answers and we do, but then another thread says NTs give one-worded answers and not the Aspies. Who does which?

Probably both do both. We're all human.

Or doing math between the position of the sun in the sky and the length of shadows to determine what time it is.

This. Even when we break rules (both categories) sometimes it's knowingly and sometimes it's just due to being oblivious.
