I'm derailing a thread sorry everyone

What sort of noises would be contributing to music?
I'm not sure. I haven't had time to do research into the whole auditory hallucination concept. I have a sort of working theory that what may be happening is internal patterning in my brain. To explain simply, there is a concrete perception (the actual sound), like that coming from a central heating system in house. I get the perception of the sound, but then instead of it stopping there like it does for most people (neurotypicals), my brain goes further needing to make patterns of it. The patterns that my brain makes work off of already known patterns like music and voices. Then , depending on the frequency and other factors of the actual sound, my brain formulates patterns of it and goes off on a musical or other sound tangent trying to make logical sense of it, by forming new patterns on top of it. That's about as far as I am with my theory.

I've got acute hearing too. Speaking of music at night, I was in bed and hadn't been in for long (so I wasn't half asleep) and suddenly a song came strongly into my head and played perfectly. It was a pop tune that I hadn't heard in ages that I didn't really hear often and didn't particularly like. I had put the most fantastic beat over it and remixed it into an amazing house remix! I thought, "Right, I really must remember that so I can try and do it." And then I forgot it completely.
Aw that sucks. I've had that kind of thing happen many times, only not with music, but with words or visuals. I've had whole movie scenes play in my head or dialogue or poems or lyrics that just spring up. If I don't catch it immediately, it disappears into thin air. That's why I keep notebads with me and by my bed all the time.

Listening back to all the house tunes I've spent all day sourcing. I still can't find some. All I have is bits of lyrics and the songs are too scarce to find online!!
ergh how frustrating
