Both wrong! My lie was #3. Splitting firewood was a favorite chore (stress relief), and I never split that much wood.

I begged to be tied to the tree so that I could escape like Harry Houdini. It took me four hours.

I did crash the car while playing in it. I managed to get it into neutral and it rolled down the driveway into the tree.

I wondered! That did seem like a lot of wood, but you didn't say you did them all at once (not even in the same year).

1. I have a large amount of laundry to wash.

2. I have to go get my doggy now.

3. I am a terrible nursemaid when people are ill.

Certainly #3 for Nurturing Isabella....

You're right, I'm a good nurse My lie was 3.

1) My son has a long-haired dog.

2) I am allergic to my son's dog.

3) My son's dog sleeps with me.

I really hope it's 2, but I sense it's 1.

1. I'm a nervous wreck today.

2. I'm happy and hyper today.

3. I'm masking very well.

Don't worry--I'm NOT allergic to my son's dog! He can have very long hair if we let it grow, and he does sleep with me more than he sleeps with my son, but he is a hypoallergenic breed. I am allergic to other dogs.

But I am worried that your lie is #2.

My lie is 2. I'm in a good mood despite being a nervous wreck, if that's possible, but I'm certainly not hyper.

1. I have an appointment next Wednesday which I was planning to attend tomorrow. (Whooops).

2. I have an appointment tomorrow that I was planning to attend next Wednesday (Whooops)

3. I'm usually very organised about appointments.

My lie is #2.

I thought the appointment was tomorrow, even though I know it's on the 17th and I knew that today is the 10th.

(for shame -- it's one of those days).

1) I saw a hepatologist this week.

2) I saw a hematologist last week.

3) I'm seeing a neurologist next week.

#1 for Red, I suspect.

You almost caught me, Red, as I thought you wrote Haematologist for both. Having noticed the difference, and knowing your medical situation, I think your lie is 2.
