Do you use chopsticks?

Never

Do you hug stuffed animals when you are down?

I used to have a big teddy named Nathaniel. He went everywhere with me, even to Uni. Sadly he was ... removed ... from my life. I don't have a huggy any more because most of my plushies are too small. I hug my real animals, though.

Do you have a landline phone?

I don't have any authentic Chinese restaurants where I live. It's Americanized with terrible eggrolls, weak sauces, lots of celery or deep fried this or that. It's not possible, for example, for me to get any dish extremely spicy even if requested that way. I lived in a metro area when I was young and there was a great authentic Chinese restaurant there. It had a lidded container of a pepper oil paste condiment on every table. The sauce was very spicy and oh so good! Putting a dollop of it in hot soup was like gasoline on a fire. Mmmmmmm!

Yes, I can use chopsticks.

I would NOT want to be the sole ruler of anything. I would prefer that rule would be one of consensus but not manipulated reactions.

Do you feel you have a decent grasp on what umami flavor/taste is?

Chinese, Vietnamese, German food yes

Umami yes

Ruler of the country, no. I do not know enough. But I would assign it to someone else. For example Obama

What were the ten worst punishments you have had and for what?

Nothing comes to mind. XH used to ‘punish’ me a lot fr absolutely insane reasons but I am over it now and do not want to think about it as it was traumatic on a deep level not physically but emotionally

My parents did their share but again I try not to remember it.

I suppose the law clerk Claire lying about n slandering me was her way of punishing me fr making a decision she did not understand, so I’ll say that.

That could count for all 10 as it was most recent N i have not gotten over it

I guess I’ll pass on this question to someone else fr a more substantial answer

Oh gosh. Lemme think.
In no particular order:
1) Sleeping outside in a storm and then having to go to school sick for a week
2) Doing the ninja course till I threw up and couldnt move (Never was I happier than the day this stupid thing got taken down. Bane of me and my brothers existence lol)
3) Being forced to balance plates on my arms and being thrown into the deep end of the pool every time I dropped one (I have never been a strong swimmer- let alone when I was 5)
4) That one time my I was completely naked for a belting and it went too low and riding was excruciating for the next couple weeks
5) The Old Witch's House. Every. Time. (Honestly worse than anything painful couldve been)
6) Handstand against the wall balancing water on my feet without letting it spill (this one is torture yall ugh I sometimes I hated being a gymnast)
7) Sitting beside a speaker as it blasts seriously terrible extremely loud music in my ears. (I HATE loud music. This might not be so terrible for say my brothers, but I hated it)
8] Allowing my brothers to coat me in flour, spray me with water guns, and then dribble honey all over me. (I have a thing about stuff touching my skin ack)
9) Being stuck in a box for hours. Just a cardboard box in the garage. For every sound or movement you get an hour added.
10) Tickling. No Im not joking. All three of my brothers tickling me till I couldnt breathe and letting me have just enough time to catch a breath before starting again till I was crying and begging them to stop

My parents were very creative punishers. The traditional punishments didnt work on me because I had too high a pain tolerance. So they got smarter.
Almost all these were for talking back or breaking the rules. The Witch's House was for outbursts. Beltings were for more extreme offensives. Number 9 was for trying to run from a punishment. Number 10 was typically a brother only punishment they invented when I annoyed them too much. Oh yeah, number 3 was for breaking dishes and number 8 was for dropping the Christmas cookies (I was climbing the pantry shelves). I cant remember what number 1 was for.
Lmao that took a second. Started laughing when I was writing number 8. My parents regretted that one so much it was hilarious. My mom now has an extreme hatred of honey. Anyway I was trying to put some of their more creative ones. I probably missed a couple but its been years since Ive been in that kind of trouble. This stuff was all elementary school.

Do you prefer food from your own country more, or a foreign country?

Foreign country. I like different things depending on the season
so no specific country or cuisine but generally I like soups and stews from different countries eg recipes from India, portugal, France , America, etc

I like the nature, that it is close to the ocean and rather open landscape. I enjoy being outdoors so I love the fact that I have access to nature right outside the house. It`s very important to me.

Have you been surprised by yourself some time?

Yes, especially when I think I am a terrible person, but other people don't.

Here's something philosophical I've been thinking about: does your appreciation/overall liking of something change when/if you find out that the creator isn't such a good person as you originally assumed?

I like "deep" questions like this, so hopefully many people will answer. :)

No it gives me pause fr thought n i generally reflect on things that may have affected their work (im assuming writers?) . N it gives me more insight n context

When i find out a movie maker or actor is a bad person eg Scarlet J supporting zionism n apartheid, I just avoid their movies
