feels,
I don't love chocolate in any form but I absolutely can't eat it "inside" anything, particularly baked goods or egg like chocolate crepes, chocolate chips in banana bread, chocolate chips in pancakes -- omg I can't do it. That's disgusting.

Likewise, I can't eat meat with other products rolled "inside" it, like chicken cordon bleu or cottage rolls.

Meat has to be well done and cooked through without some type of moist thing in the middle. :eew:

Magna,
Food smells I can't do: roasting chicken or turkey in an oven. It smells good but somehow the scent makes me nauseated and gives me migraines. It permeates the house too much.

I can't stand the smell of cocoa powder or powdered chocolate.

Seafood: Scallops yes. Shrimp yes. Lobster triple yes. .. Not crab.

I don't like sweet and savory things mixed together. I don't like Jello salads as a rule but they're popular at holiday dinners. If I was to put some Jello on my plate and then it made contact with stuffing or mixed with some gravy on the plate.....yuck. No way would I eat the the result of the contact. It's making my stomach "flip flop" just thinking about it.

Do you like Alfredo/cream based pasta sauces?

I don't ever make Alfredo / cream-based sauces because I prefer really spicy sauce, which is usually tomato based.
However, I've had a few nice Alfredos in restaurants. They're nice with a little salt.

I'm not a fan of creme pasta sauces as they're too rich for me. Even if they're good and the first few bites taste good, once the sauce starts to cool it isn't as appealing or tasty.

Yes to the spicy tomato sauce!

Do you prefer one type of pasta shape over another or are there any types of pasta shapes you actually dislike?

I like twirling, so I like angel hair or spaghettini pastas if the sauce is light enough. Otherwise I like penne (did you know it's named for pen nibs because of the diagonal cuts on the end?) My father loved rigatoni. I'm not big on the spiral ones and they seem heavy somehow.

For tomato based sauces I'm all about capellini/angel hair or vermicelli with spaghetti a close third.

I'm Ok with penne and tomato based sauces and I'm OK with elbow macaroni for macaroni and cheese, but I do NOT like elbow macaroni and tomato based sauces. Weird.

Off for my walk but..

Do you like eating seaweed and if so, how do you like to eat it? What kinds?

I used to he obsessed with pasta bcuz I wanted to paint it with nailpolish bur my mom wd rarely let me as she said pasta n nailpolish are both expensive

I like Indomie noodles though the ones which u drain then add the spices

I like dried nori seaweed but not overly. I don’t mind it.

What unusual things do u find embarrassing? I mean tht are unusual fr ppl to be embarrassed about

I don't think I've had seaweed unless it's hidden in the few Japanese meals I've had.

Embarrassing? Give me some examples. I won't leave a voicemail message because I'm scared I'll sound weird or make a mistake in syntax. I absolutely hate being photographed or in video. I'm embarrassed by showing my emotions or even crying at a funeral.

I like seaweed even though it sounds disgusting. I can relate about the jello touching the stuffing! I love gravy and dread the gravy touching any salad...

I hate listening to my own voice, it is so droney. Funnily enough I am conducting an experiment at the moment, playing online poker (fav card game) and recording both the game and my face - to see if I have any 'tells' in case I want to play real life poker again some day. So far so good, no change in expression on a good hand, I look very boring. This ASD condition is perfect for playing poker.

I can't remember what question we are on? Sound of one's voice?

New Question; Do you play poker, or any gambling game?

I once played poker in 1998 in Spain, and won 22,000 pesetas from a fellow contestant. He pleaded with me to suspend the payment, as he couldn't afford it, and I'm still waiting for it to this day. That was my one experience of playing poker.

Have you ever placed a bet on a horserace?

I used to, but don't as a rule like gambling (except poker) but have discovering how many horses die after the Melbourne Cup every year has put me off.

On a ranking of 1 to 10 of favourite things (1 being the most favourite), where do animals fit?

If someone gave you something you don't like, would you tell that person the truth?

I wd try to make myself like it
Eg when XH got me a giant stuffed hello kitty fr my birthdsy once
I tried to think positive
But i ended up admitting to him after a while tht no matter how hard i tried i disliked it n dislike hello kitty

Another time he got me a stuffed Simba lion cub which he thought i wd like n again i tried to make myself like it n convinced myself it was likeable
But I didn’t care for it
He also got me my fave book that birthday which i did like but his special neecs brother took it n never returned it

If smthing is really bad u can throw it or give it away if it’s ok but not what u need/want

U dont have to hurt the person’s feelings u can just be quiet n make generic positive comments

I would like to and I did in regards to what my mom and brother gave me for Christmas.

Does people 'not caring' tick you off?.
