I could do handsprings and walk-overs so I was standing on my hands momentarily, but I couldn't hold the pose upright.

My grandfather did headstands every morning to keep his blood circulating, or so he said. :P

If you could have plastic surgery for free and be guaranteed it would work safely, would you consider it?

Possibly, if there was a reason why I wanted it.

Did you ever pretend to be sick so you could miss school?

I think I pretended to be sick so I wouldn't have to go shopping LOL

I didn't like school-----but I didn't like being at home with my mother, either.

Did you ever sleepwalk?

I sleepwalk all the time, but it's not like in the movies. I usually have a vague recollection of what I've done. I let my dog out or get a cup of water and go back to sleep, but I'm sure I'm technically asleep in the process.

I last sleepwalked when I was 7. My mother got upset with me because I woke her LOL

Did you ever accidentally see or hear your parents do "the wild thing?"

No, but I remember that I was never allowed to go in their room at night. On the rare occasion that I had a bad nightmare I had to sleep on their floor without a cushion because I wasn't allowed in their bed. I remember them installing a lock on their bedroom door, and me wondering why.

When I was 6, I opened the door to my parents' bedroom. I had a vague idea that I really "violated" something. I believe I probably caught them "in the act."

I don't think I was hit----but it really seemed like both parents felt like giving me a piece of their mind LOL.

Did you feel pride that you owned your very own typewriter?

I loved my typewriter. I suppose it was a feeling of pride but it wasn't unusual for my peers to have one too.

I did pretend to be sick a few times because of peer pressure and bullying at school.

Did you ever curse at a teacher?

My mother bought an electric typewriter when I was about 10 or 11 years old. This was the first typewriter we ever owned. Not many kids had parents who had typewriters back in the early 70s.

I learned how to type on that typewriter. I wouldn't be where I am today if she didn't buy that typewriter!

In the 1980s, I once rented an IBM Selectric.

Have you ever used a street phone booth to make a phone call?

I used a street phone booth to call a man I had a crush on, just to hear his voice. lol.
I used them other times as well.

I graduated from high school in 1986.

Did you ever place crank calls when you were younger?
