He didit bcuz he felt guilty as when we were younger he had to live in a different country and sent us to Canada bcuz the education there is better even public schools are better than private schools there
However i was severely bullied and becamev depressed and when he saw the stark contrast he regretted it
Then he saidi ask u because i never want u to be depressed again

I think im just prone to it as part of my brain
So in that sense it’s understandable but i think he has a childish view n thought that was the answee instead of smthinh more mature like sending the child to therapy

Oh ok, so he did have good intentions at least, even though that probably doesn't excuse that behavior at all. If your brain is more prone to it, that could mean you might have clinical depression right? So therapy could be helpful with that. It sucks that you were bullied, I hope things have improved since then.

I have few such memories as well. The one that does jump out at me though happened in 1983 or 1984. My Dad took me along with him on a road trip to South Dakota to help someone move there. We were driving back home and the trip would have been 10-12 hours. I was too young to drive and I noticed that my Dad was starting to nod off. A rarity for me with him, I became firmly insistent that we should stop at a motel and sleep and make the rest of the trek the next day. I expected a protest from him, but surprisingly he agreed and stopped at the very next town. I felt grown up that he'd actually take something I suggested to heart.

While he was getting ready for bed I turned on the TV and a rock video program was on. Kiss The Bride by Elton John was the video that started playing. I'll never forget it.

Ooh, walk time!

When was the last time you used a blender?

Oh wait. I do remember making decisions for my father when he was dying, but I was in my early 30s by then. I attended all of his appointments, made many decisions, liaised with many doctors, supported my father spiritually and emotionally, and did all of those responsibilities for him over a course of time. My mother stayed home from his death bed to clean the house because that was more important than being with her husband of 40 years as he passed away. Likewise, my brother was too stressed out to attend or to process what was happening, so I made all the final decisions alone. I didn't get any recognition for it but I know in my heart I did the right thing.

Blender? I made a smoothie about three days ago.

The last time I used a blender was eight years ago when I was extracting oils from algae as part of a project for school on the use of algae and cyanobacteria for biofuel.

I'm not great with words, but I'm even worse with numbers. Numbers just will not stick in my brain no matter what I do.

How much snow do you typically get over the winter in your area?

It's Michigan, so it's completely random but can be a lot.

Same question.

I live near the southern border of the United States, so we normally get almost none in town but you can usually see some on the mountains at some point during the winter.

What movie makes you laugh or feel happy?

Feel good movies? Princess Bride is definitely a wonderful film.
Uncle Buck How could someone NOT like John Candy?

There are many others but I can't think of any more at the moment.

Have you ever wanted to be able to sing well enough to perform, be in a band or record professionally?

Yes, I've wished that had a good singing voice or a singing voice others would find pleasant. Also, I like the feeling and sound of harmonizing with someone else even if it's just holding a note. I would ask my kids when they were very young to hold a note and I'd find it's harmonic counterpart. I thought they'd think it was as cool as I did, but alas, no. No one in my family is willing to do that anymore. Oh well!

Tropical beach or a lavender laden field?

As long as there's lots of palm trees----the tropical beach.

If there's no shade---the lavender field.

Do you like the turquoise water found in tropical and subtropical beaches?

Do you have any pizza? I'm hungry.

It's probably really hard to tell but I am also a big fan of princess bride.

I do not have pizza, I am dieting, but I also am hungry.

Do you like princess bride, and if so who is your favorite character?

Yes, I like The Princess Bride. My favorite character is Inigo Montoya. I named one of my Betta fish after him because he was deep blue with white ventral fins so it looked like he was carrying swords.

Same question.

I've never seen The Princess Bride.

Have you seen The Breakfast Club, and if so who is your favourite character?

Ah, nice. Inigo is my favorite as well, although Fezzik is a close second, and I think I'd say Wesley comes in third. Honestly most if not all of the characters are worthuly of that honor though. Now I need to rewatch the princess bride.

I have seen breakfast club, favorite character is Bender. I like that he comes across as a jerk at first but he turns out to be a really cool, nice guy who is willing to sacrifice himself for his friends.
