I have a male dog, a male kitty and a male beta fish. I just took my female kitty to the Rainbow Bridge two weeks ago :(

I have always wanted an Old English Sheepdog named Godot (since I've been waiting for him so long), but my current dog is the best in the world. I wouldn't mind another female kitty but I'm not ready yet.

There was a time when I was pretty solipsistic----before I started to talk. I'm not a person who really likes to "get into" himself. It sort of scares me.

Same question.

Wow
I know there is sooo much locked away one only has to look at his eyes to see that he thinks properly n wants to communicate properly
Solipsism is interesting i looked it up on google wow
I can remember periods that i fell into that mainly at school
It’s like dissociation, right? Idk
Getting off topic
Thnx fr replies re: non verbal everyone. I hope millions of things happen to contribute to a peaceful n fulfilling life fr u guys. So nice to me

Re: pets question

I currently own 1 pony, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 1 turtle (she's expecting!), 4 shrimp, 1 fish, 1 snail, 1 guinea pig, 2 rats, 2 mice, and a squirrel. (ok so Jerry's not really mine....but I raised him and he loves me so it kinda counts)
Im setting up a bigger fish tank soon so I'll hopefully have a lot more fish
Ive personally always wanted to own geckos or a snake of some kind. I also really wish I could get another cat that I can bring to college with me because I sleep much better with a cat (my old cat fell asleep with me every night for 17 years...)

Do you find coloring calming? (like that whole adult coloring books craze)

I'm obsessed with adult colouring books. I've nearly completed an entire Zen one with about 140 pictures. I'm also working on Colour Me to Sleep and the Wuthering Heights colouring book.

Do you like puzzles?

I used to do jigsaw puzzles all the time with my dad. It was our special thing to do even when I was an adult. Since he passed away I haven't wanted to do another.

Did you ever do a paint-by-number?

I'm not sure.
I may have as a small child.

Do you ever get really bad thoughts?

Yes, like ... daily? Hourly?
I have Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It's a miracle when I have pleasant thoughts.

When I was 12 I tried but I became angry and wrote a whole rant about the concept of paint/by-number in my diary ..

Bad thoughts? I generally have the discipline to not entertain them .. one thing That I am not strong enough to keep away is suicidal thoughts but i know now how to restrain it just enough n ridicule them to distract myself with anything else

What would you do if you boarded onto the wrong plane and tuned out n slept n didn’t realize till arrival ?

For such a pleasant person, you certainly deserve to have more pleasant thoughts

Thanks blooie. Same to you. We're two birds of a feather in some ways.

WP has been a life-saver, to keep my thoughts channeled.

Your children will keep you from suicide. It will get easier as time goes on, especially if you keep reaching out to us. I would enjoy the trip to the random location because chances are I just want to be alone regardless of the setting.

I get them mostly at home.
I've never had anywhere where I feel it's comfortably home yet.
The closest I've had felt at home was when I was with my ex when he drove me back to my apartment in his big rig.
I ran away from my apartment because of my thoughts.

Now I don't have him. I have his child...

Anyway,

Do you go to therapy?

A new question about plane riding.

I would think it was f**#ing hilarious.
And, would be ready for the adventure of getting back.
Possibly would also be scared at times.

If my child was with me, not so hilarious.

I've been seeing a Trauma Psychologist since June 2009. It is almost our tenth anniversary. In the beginning I saw him daily and now it's tapered down to every few weeks. We have a very strong bond. I don't know what I would have done without him. He isn't an autism specialist, though. I can't find anyone who specialises in adult autism therapy, but I don't need that because my T Psych. is so good. He's over 80 years old and when he retires I don't know what I'll do. I don't trust easily.

I'm seeing a therapist once a week.

Do you go to the movie theater?

Maybe about once a year, if that.
