Of course there should be these types of services. Definitely.

Do you believe there should be better resources aiding autistic people seeking employment than "vocational rehabilitation?"

I think that they should improve the voc rehab system so that it does a better job of helping all people with disabilities.

Same question.

Yes they do
I saw a disgusting comment on a video accusing a young boy of killing his sister because he is an ‘autistic weirdo’

this was fr JonBenet a vid that showed up in my recommendations from watching child pageant documentary.

Wont answer KraftieKortie’s Q as I have no knowledge of that topic but i pass it on.

It seems like to a lot of people, autistic just means "too weird to function." Since they don't understand what it actually means they are perfectly willing to call all kinds of behaviors "autistic" that actually have nothing to do with the typical diagnostic criteria.

I feel ashamed to say this, but I'm currently working with my local VocationalRehab in my area and I've only had slight sucess due to various roadblocks and so forth, as well, I literally had to push my ownself to learn and acquire my CompTia A+ certification, despite the fact, computers were always my strongpoint yet, I was often being detoured from the occupational industry deliberately.

What do you see as a major roadblock within your own life, being it housing, education, employment, etc?

My being in debt.

Same question.

Please note: there is no shame in being in "'vocational rehab." The "shame" is more in the lack of variety of services which "vocational rehab" provides. There is a strong tendency for "vocational rehab" to emphasize menial employment over others sorts of employment.

Yeah, I've noticed that, which I find absolutely barbaric, yet I think it's not just vocational rehab itself, but sometimes the employment network provider that are often make it up, as I noticed in my case;however, at this time I managed to find a employment network whom is solely dedicated to working with autistic in helping them not merely finding a job, but an occupational choice that migrates or mutates into a long term career, which is something I've been seeking for decades now..

Do you think there are difficulties when choosing to disclose or not disclose your disability to a potential employer?

My biggest roadblock is my anxiety, especially social anxiety.

Yes, there are difficulties in self-disclosure. Most things I've read on it have said that it's best not to disclose until the last possible moment (i.e. after they offer you an interview or after they offer the job, if you can hide it).

If you could change your name to anything, what would it be? And why? (if there's a reason)

Kaylee.
My name is Grace, and growing up there were always multiple Grace's in all my classes. Its way too popular. And kinda boring. Kaylee is based off my middle name, which is a combination of my two grandma's names.
I like my Korean name fine tho.

At what age do you remember first learning the true meaning of death and dying? Like, full comprehension.

I learned when my paternal grandmother Kathleen died. It was the first time I saw my father cry. He didn't even cry when his father disappeared, so I knew this was more serious.

same q

Do you think there needs to be a revamping of how people in society perceive autistic persons?

Do you consider yourself judgmental?

Against others, I sure hope not. Against myself...I totally am. >.<

Hmm...I'm not sure. I can remember easily when I was first introduced to the concept, at least, from watching Bambi and The Lion King at my grandparents' house when I was very young.

I like this question, so: same question.

I'm judgemental against persons whom believe in fabricated crap that has been clearly debunked or persons whom seemingly cant seem to get beyond the fact, the entire autism spectrum is not just geeky, male teenagers..

How would you like to change things for all autistic people in a benevolent way the world over?
