I meant as a child. I was very trusting until 2002.

Now I'm very cautious believing most people.

Do you like reggae?

I was pretty trusting as a child, too.

I like the "roots" type reggae as done by Bob Marley. I'm not so keen on the "fast" versions of it---like Reggaeton and Dance Hall or things like that.


Do you like Ska (example: "My Boy Lollipop" by Millie Small)

I liked Ska in the 80s. I'm not sure what it's up to now.

Does your pillow tend to fall off the bed all the time? I always wake with one on the floor.
I think I move around too much.

Do you like a cold drink in the middle of the night?

I always go to bed with a tall glass of ice water. The ice is up to the top of the glass. While I'm sleeping I usually wake a few times for some, and I often go fetch more. It must be really cold.

Do you have weekend plans?

Probably just the usual crap.

Have you ever had a pasty (aka a Cornish meat pie)? If so, have you eaten them with gravy? Mustard?

I'm having a floor replaced tomorrow.
I hope to finish my book which has been slow-going.
I should see a friend who had a birthday, but I really don't want to. lol
I'll likely do some spring cleaning for the balance of time.


Oooh yes! Cornish Pie is great. My dad's mother made them. I can't remember if they had mustard.
Now I'm hungry.

The occasional documentary
The kids like Lost In Space and I watch that with them.

Nothing as I don't subscribe to it. I tend to watch documentaries and there are plenty on terrestrial tv.

Do you ever get the chance to do some gardening?

I get the chance to pay landscapers! Does that count?!
I love a nice garden but I'm terrified of the things that live in the ground and I won't touch soil.

I will hopefully be able to post pics this summer of a 20 feet by 72 feet greenhouse that I started to erect last fall. The plan is to grow lots of peppers and tomatoes and other veggies in it. I do like to garden.

Did your mother talk non-stop like she was a wind-up toy? Mine does.

No. My Mom was a woman of few words. She was always doing something unless she was taking one of her 20 minute power naps, but didn't talk much. She did like to sing to her records (like S&G!!) while she worked around the house and she had a very nice singing voice.

Her mother though.....non-stop talker.

What kind of supper are you or will have have tonight? Meatless Fridays for me for Lent. I think I'm going to make veggie burgers with chickpeas....

I had fish, spinach salad and mashed potato, for the same reason.

Do you own a lot of 45s? (records, not guns lol)

My wife and I have melded our vinyl collections. She has more 45s than I do. Between us we probably have 50? Many more 12" (full size) vinyl records.
