Actually, regarding the existence of this thread and what it has become, what I think is:

We don't feel popular.
We may very well not be popular.
We've decided that if we are not popular, and probably will not become popular, we have nothing to lose by saying any old thing that we darn well WANT to!
So we do!!
And that is why this is such a fun thread!

Sylkat :D

Hi Sylkat, I think that's a great description for this thread.

Hi Mick, I am 46 years old. Some of the late 60's are in my memory from when I was very young. . The 60s gave us some of the greatest music ever. I always appreciate your posts, and I'm happy you remind me of the importance and greatness of the 60's.

Hi to zzmondo, AScomposer13413, AnonymousAnonymous, Tequila, TenPencePiece, artrat. and everyone.

I guess you're right, Sylat. I was just a little off-put that the notion of popularity exists here on WP. Anyway, hey to Sylat, zzmondo, CockneyRebel, et al. :P

It would be nice to think that popularity didn't exist here, but it's natural I guess - Having said that, it isn't half as much of a bad thing as it may be anywhere else.

I don't really see anyone as popular or unpopular. I just recognize names of people who post alot, I assume everyone does the same.

I guess that people like other people who are similar to themselves. I'd also like to welcome 886 to our thread, as well. :)
