My girlfriend is saying we need to buy stuff for our baby which is due in eight months time. We need clothes, toys, diapers, a cot, a pram and god knows what else ! ! ! ! I'm thinking I either need to win the lottery or start another ten jobs to pay for all this stuff lol! :mrgreen:

I still suffer from old religious programming even though I reject organized religion and dogma now. It tries to pull me back into my old mindset. It also makes me fearful of what will happen to me when I die.

I think I've been reading too many dark stories. That may be one reason why my writing continually spirals into darkness every time I try to make things lighter.

Now I'm going to tally the amount of noticeably/especially dark stories on my shelf.

Here's the verdict:
most anything by Neil Gaiman, the Mistborn trilogy, the Reckless series, The Silmarillion + The Lord of The Rings, the Claymore manga, the Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle manga, and the RG Veda manga.

Since I'm at it, I'll take a look at the darkest video games I have. Let's see. Mother 3, Pokemon Explorers of Sky, and...Persona 3/PSP. Oh, and Persona Q.
