But how can you really know for sure someone is a sock puppet?

If paranoia is allowed to rule then a perfectly innocent newcomer could be ignored or treated with suspicion. I think this is my biggest concern especially as we are a supportive site.

I get it if they have left obvious clues but I have no idea really. So I try to treat everyone as if they are real.

You get a feel for it :spiderman: I'm not going to give away the tell tale signs here , I'll PM you if you want. Nobody has been called out as a sock puppet. It's all fun and games until it's not , trust me I bare the scars.

I'm sorry if my PTSD makes me hyper vigilant but that ain't changing anytime soon , I'm autistic , I see patterns that most don't. I make mistakes but I have at least an 89% accuracy rate.

I want a safe environment for my friends so I can be an arse sometimes - sue me
