A few weeks ago. I only really buy the Daily Mail, though it's beginning to go downhill. I'd buy The Mail on Sunday, if only for the Peter Hitchens column, but it can be quite virulently anti-Brexit, which I can't tolerate. It's also worth buying the Daily Express on a Wednesday for the Ann Widdecombe column, though I haven't done so for some time.

Trivia: around ten years ago there was a story that gained some level of national attention in the press and was prevalent on the internet that "calamari" rings sold in the U.S. were actually pig anus from the meat processing industry. As a result of the fervor, the story was thankfully debunked quickly and proven to be an "urban legend".
