To me the obvious answer to OP is a less sardonic version of Fnord's then; we can perceive anything that exists in the same space where we exist. We also can't really scientifically define all the human senses because we would discolor the results simply by attempting to measure that.

Being an evangelist for science as the only form of truth isn't really so different from just being an evangelical. They're different narratives but equally futile.

If that's the obvious answer I'm oblivious to the question.

Hiya, Tem. How's it going?

Hello my lovely,

I am left with just a residue of vertigo which is a relief.

And to think how much I enjoyed the waltzer and other twirly things at the fun fair when I was younger. :eew:

I'm going to be working on a fanfiction next month. It'll be the first 'real' fanfiction I've ever written, aside from ongoing my imaginings in my head, of course [all my other attempts were just copy paste nonsense from when I was much younger].

Since your epiphany will you be approaching the character building differently?

You have learned a great deal this year and I wondered how this would translate into your new works.

^Yes, very much so.

The title of the fanfiction will be 'Falling in Love with Death', and will be based on a storyline in one of my favourite video games, Persona 3/PSP.

You know, Christopher Paolini was only 15 when he started to write Eragon and it has done exceptionally well.

I have noticed the difference in his writing as he developed the rest of his books in this series.

Give yourself a pat on the back Kura :D

I'm making a list of books that are in omniscient perspective.

The Lord of the Rings, Alice in Wonderland, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Dirk Gently series, Discworld, Good Omens, Anansi Boys, The Book Thief [which is in first person omniscient, which is so rare it was the only example I could find; it is also narrated by Death].

To which storm are you referring? Literal or figurative.

It's real.

Comment someone wrote after the large hail/damaging winds/fire warning:

Anything else? Earthquake? Plague? Seems to all be happening this week

All happening indeed.

Oh, shite.

I just got the "unprecedented weather event" text message.
Need to gather all my crap together.

Later.
Unless I'm barbecued/blown away/killed by hail.

Actually it's just for fire, so I'll only be barbecued. :D
