Quite the contrary. You're one of the most not-horrible people I know.
You're simply discovering what *every* dedicated young writer has discovered all through history, namely, that *everyone* begins with imitation. It is only by doing that, extensively, for a long period of time, that you begin, slowly, to develop your own distinctiveness. You've just moved much closer to that.
