Thank you Mr Wolf, and the same to you!

If only we could tour the great libraries of the world, or debate Lawrence! 8)

New question:
Visit all the great art galleries or visit all the great museums?

Visiting great museums sounds more worthwhile to me.

Same question.

Definitely art galleries

Museums are something that my sister and mother and brothers love. And my dad is ambivalent towards.

I like art galleries a LOT except the one in downtown of my old house which is sickening seemingly intended for psychopaths with gruesome sick things every season. I always went hoping to gain something but all it did was make me feel as though I had entered the mind of a serial killer

Actually spontaneously going to an art gallery together is one of the happy memories of my marriage. We went to tons of museums and it just wasn't the same. With museums spending days in one is more beneficial than visiting many for a day each. And still doesn't give me the same fascination

I think museums are quieter and less social, so museums.

What's your least favorite activity?

I really dislike shopping, the way some people just wander around buying things for fun.

Leaving the house when the next-door neighbours are around or can see me.

How far is the nearest bus stop from your home? Do you ever use it?

The bus stop is about a four minute walk. I haven't ridden a bus in about 20 years.

How far is the nearest river from your house?

About 10 miles.

I’m nearer to the sea than to a river.

Has your home ever flooded?

I had a plumbing flood, but not a flood from outdoors. I was lucky to have very good insurance.

(Isabella): There are a couple of streams about a quarter to half a mile away. The nearest proper river would be the Irwell, which flows through central Manchester and Salford, about 10-12 miles away.

(Kraftiekortie/Isabella): No, but I'd dread it happening and am glad I live in a fairly elevated location.

Have you ever bought or sold anything via Ebay?

I buy rare books on Ebay but I've never sold anything.

My closest river is less than a mile away.

No, I recently opened an account there, but it looks a bit of a snakepit and I'm reluctant to take the plunge (if that's not a mixed metaphor, and it probably is...).

How many months of the year do you use the heating system in your home?

I think water snakes occasionally plunge, so the metaphor is sound if they also have pits.

I use the heating about eight or nice months a year. It depends on the weather. I've had it off for nearly a month now.

How often do you cut your hair?

I get it cut approximately twice per year. It costs £13 per time. I was astonished a year or two back to read that the average British male spends about £350 per year on hair grooming.

How many pairs of shoes do you own?
