Waiting for some movies to download from iTunes (Secret Window and The Ninth Gate).

Also waiting for my hair to dry so I can go to sleep.

Chewing gum, and listening to my remastered Kinks 'Face to Face' CD with the bonus tracks, that I just bought, this evening, from HMV. 8)

Trying to write this damn orchestral piece! Well, actually, listening to the 3rd movement of Mendelssohn's Scottish Symphony, but that's because it's similar in character to how I want my piece to sound, and I'm trying to get in the right frame of mind.

Drinking my morning tea, mentally imagining myself being the fastest person on the litter crew, this morning.

well i have calculated a new animation, and i tried to compress it and i got the compression algorithm wrong because i did not synchromesh the frame rate correctly.

today when i looked at the uncompressed animation, i saw that it was fluent, but it also twinkled with many aliases that were not supposed to be in it.
i reconfigured the level of precision of the original fractal animation to 30 decimal places and started to regenerate it, but it seems it is going to take about 140 hours of cpu time to do.
i am annoyed that i do not have a super computer to do the job.
i may couple the music with the twinkling low precision file and upload it while i am processing the anti aliased one that is 30 decimal places of precision..

whatever i am impatient.

i was recently watching a show called "deadliest catch". i thought it may be about people catching white pointer sharks, but to my surprise, it was only crabs that they were catching. moreover, the crabs were all contained in cages, so i thought "what wimps" and i changed the channel. caged crabs are not "deadly"

It was where they were being caught that made it a dangerous catch due to the weather. I saw that when I was in my cabin on a cruise ship! Not good to see boats nearly tip over in storms when you're on a boat yourself.

the title is "deadliest catch" not "deadliest weather".
why do they equate the crabs they catch with weather?
no need to explain because i would not understand.

"catch" is referring to the process they go through to have the crabs caught. So to be totally accurate, it should be "Deadliest Catching".

that does make sense.

so it is like if you wish to catch a butterfly in a field where hungry lions stalk, then it can be referred to as a potentially deadly episode of catching whatever the quarry is.

Exactly. That's not a bad idea for a show, actually. You should take it to some TV production companies

Not being unhappy that United Kingdom came last in the Eurovision Song Contest; the song was awful.
