I've never owned an 8-track tape, or an 8-track player. I never knew anybody who did.

I used to LOVE drive-in movies when I was kid. Especially if I got some food in the bargain LOL

Same question.

I'll take a picture of the 8 Tracks for you, next time I'm over there. There's a whole case made especially for them, and it's full with about 16 tapes. I remember listening to them in my dad's car and in the house.

I like drive-in movies because I like nostalgia. I saw ET at a drive-in, and I think Grease too. Both were when they first were released. Of course there were others but I can't remember.

Do you always brush your teeth before bed?

I don't think of Grease and ET to be "drive-in" type movies. Because drive-in's were already starting to go away by the 70s. Many closed by the time Grease opened.

A perfect "drive-in" type movie would be something like "Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang."

LOL....I probably should more often.

Did you ever watch the traffic lights change when you were a kid?

I found ET to be really dark (literally, poor lighting) and I couldn't see the picture very well from the car.

I have a memory that we saw Grease for my 10th birthday party and I took some friends and we stayed in the car without parents. I can't verify this, though. I'm about 80% sure it happened.

No I didn't watch lights change. Did you like to hide or climb?

I was a scaredy-cat...I didn't like climbing at all----or hiding, really.

I was such a square kid----maybe that's why I wasn't liked.....

I liked playing sports, though.

I bet you were like a leopard when it came to trees.....

Did you build yourself a treehouse as a kid?

My dad and brother built a tree fort with rope pulleys for "deliveries". As you know my brother also had a two-level fort in our house which had strobe lights and shag rugs. I had a fort made of bedsheets for eight years. I used to climb the tree at my grandmother's but preferred climbing into attics or other places that were secluded / indoors, which people couldn't see.

Lately, I'm remembering more and more instances of small places I used to go and hide. Behind armchairs, under my desk, in a crawlspace ... always wanting to be alone.

Were you ever in a school play?

I was-----but never in any sort of speaking role.

The best I did was being the "pull me" part of the "PushmePullme" in "Doctor Doolittle."

Same question.

I played a silhouette in "The Minuet". I had to wear black and mirror someone like a shadow while they danced.
Fitting?

Another time, I wanted to be Animal from The Muppets but my teacher refused and made me be a robot in a cardboard box. Fitting?

lol

I studied Acting as well as Dramatic Literature (playwrights) in Uni and I was very good at various roles in class, but I didn't have to go on stage.

Would you rather go to a cinema or a ballgame this weekend?

I have free movie passes but don't know if I'll go.

Would you buy a WP tshirt?

Yes. I'd get a nice, nerdy oversized t-shirt to sleep in, or I could wear it to all the parties I attend.

same q
