I'm reading about total translation failures. It's quite entertaining. For instance, who knew that the Jedi Council is secretly the Presbyterian Church?
LOL
Personally I love novels, not graphic, bcuz then you are free to visualize and set up the scenario as you wish, without the illustrations dictating that.
Not only that you get into the character's mentality better, the scene, etc, it's more encompassing.
My friends here love both but prefer graphic novels. Oh, 'friends' as they haven't contacted me in over a year, despite knowing all the stuff that's been going on. I was always there for them, even when I lived in Saudi Arabia, I'd keep in touch regularly, skype, email chains.
I guess it was too much of a downer as I have no life apart from kids.
it's night here, I am just about to begin studying...for FUN.
I can't believe I am actually enjoying it now.
It's actually fun to learn, as long as you don't attend a physical classroom with other people around.
See, they should do distance/online high school learning as a valid option around the world, esp for Aspies. I bet I would have been an A+ student if I didn't have to be around others, navigating classrooms with all the noise and hubbub, group projects, dealing with ppl's smells and sounds.
I wish I had been diagnosed back then, and my parents actually gave a damn.
Well no, now is better overall, I have something to keep me going (kids are a good motivator to work hard).
Wow all my posts here are like journal entries. Sorry to whoever tries to read them.
