Five new tasks: at work, I have been doing many new things, probably more than five new things added in just the past three years.

Yes, I have seen an octopus.

What is the most exotic animal you ever saw?

What were the ten largest changes that you voluntarily made? How did they end up?

I'm not sure I understand the question, or that if I did I could answer it with anything less than an autobiography, which, let me assure you, would be a most tedious read.

What's your favourite translation of the Bible?

Vulgate, followed by the KJV. There's perhaps no uglier translation, IMO, than the RSV.

Same q.

Genesis 1 verse 1, especially the first part. I have read it so many times and it was almost every time I was getting more and more from it!

Sorry. Re-read origional question... Probably the New King James.

Have you had miriacles happen in your life?

The question was about your favourite translation, rather than passage.

I've never had anything happen I could confirm as being a miracle.

What's your favourite biblical passage?

Favorite Biblical passage:

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me.

All of Ephesians. Our ladies bible study class did a lesson on the book of Ephesians and it was great.

Miracles:

All of the new friends I have made through my various activities. Any and all improvements I have made over the past five years have been miraculous to me.

Same q. re. miracles

You're correct that the KJV is more beautiful, but, then, its authors were interested in developing a text that could be read aloud in church, and so they opted for lyricism.

Favorite Biblical passage: Psalm 84:11-12 (Septuagint)
Mercy and truth have met each other; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Truth has arisen from the earth, and righteousness has stooped down from the heavens.

Miracles: I do believe strongly in them and know many who have experienced them. I cannot say that I have.

Since a question wasn't written,

I'll just say I've read Proverbs a lot.

I go to mass as often as I can, though it's difficult to find motivation when the modernising vandals have done such effective work of taking the soul out of Christian worship. Frankly, I find guitar masses, people wearing t-shirts and "hymns" like Lord of the Dance (might as well be Tambourine Man or Karma Chameleon) - downright blasphemous.

My favourite style of architecture is baroque.
