*Facepalm moment of the day*

Talking to a guy who is friend and is 11 years older than me, I was catching a lift in his car.

Me: So how's this thing (the car) been going since you brought it?

Him: I have no idea.

Me: What do you know about cars?

Him: I know red cars go faster.

Worst thing was, he was being serious 8O

A bird (pigeon) got caught in a glue trap we put outside in case of mice. It's a sick bird, as it hasn't been flying for days. I gave it some food the other day, but since then i haven't seen it until today. It was caught in the trap, and I thought it was dead. A little later I saw it moving, and I tried my best to set it free. However the glue doesn't want to come off on one side even after I tried to wash it off. After seeing the bird in so much discomfort, I just broke into tears and i'm not sure where this sudden burst of sadness came from. i always keep my emotions in check. So yeah i'm feeling kinda low today. :(

So is mine, you can barely see the floor because I have clothes strewn around everywhere. I still have to wash my bedding because my cat got into my room again and I'm allergic to pet dander.

Have been in shutdown mode today, and due to this anyone that I was talking to I had barely any desire to continue any conversation. But then again, I'm not a very open person IRL. Even now I question where I fit in society, not intelligent enough to be an intellectual, not dumb enough to fit in with most my age, and too terrible socially to be any kind of socialite. Not much place for guys like me.

I haven't gone outside since Friday, I am avoiding my manic neighbour. He played loud music for 12 hours solid yesterday then decided to knock on my door at half-past midnight. I didn't answer and also didn't go outside today as he is waiting to pounce. :(

Mine used to be messier, but my mum had to clean it because I was away for a short time, but now the clothes are building up again :x

I flipped through my sketchbook and discovered that there is a decline in quality from the way that I used to draw. I have not been drawing as often as I used to - it takes me months to fill a single sketchbook when it used to take me 2 - 3 weeks at most. I guess the saying "use it or lose it" applies to artistic skills. But even though I am not lacking in inspiration, I find that I lack the motivation to keep drawing.

thats horrible. have you tried disolving the glue with makeup remover or nailpolish remover or methylated spirits or something? they have special liquids that take off stubourn sticky tape now too. i dont know if that'll work or how strong the glue is but you can give it a try.

phone calls from family made me unhappy today. as did the weather. i have no umbrella anymore and getting to class is awkward because i come in dripping wet and i havent had the chance to get food from anywhere except for the bread and tinned dinosaur pasta i got a couple of days ago because the rain is prohibative. i havent had the chance to go to youth group or uni's welfare room to get food from there either. on the plus side i have learned the bread is really gross & i should not get that brand again. and shopping for shampoo wasnt an issue because the former tenant left his behind. makes up for him not cleaning the loo.

I had no idea about using other things beside water, I wished i read your post earlier. But it doesn't matter now as the poor creature is dead. :( I left the bird overnight in a warmer, safer place and when I left it, it was asleep, but barely clinging on to life. I left it food but it wasn't able to eat it. I checked it today and I guess it passing away was inevitable. I just hope its last moments of life were easier than what it would have been if it was still caught in the trap. Not a great start to the day for me I guess.

btw what does your avatar signify?
