I’ve gone to them.

In the southern US, a spigot is an indoor as well as an outdoor tap.

In the northern US, a spigot is only an outdoor tap; the indoor tap is known as a faucet. The water coming out of it is “tap water,” though.

Do you like grandfather clocks?

My family has never owned one, but yes.

Same question.

Sure, I like them. Haven't seen one in years though.

What's the weather like where you are?

It's supposed to be around 90 degrees today. No rain in sight. Probably a drought this summer.

What's the highest elevation you've ever been to (approximately)?

I used to mountain bike at Whistler and Blackcomb. I don't know the elevation or the height of the biking trail, but I'm sure you know the area.

It can get pretty high around Whistler....

I climbed Mount Washington in New Hampshire. Its elevation from sea level is 6,288 feet. That's the highest elevation I've been in. Probably not as high as around Whistler.

Same question.

I also mountain biked at Smuggler's Notch in Vermont. I don't remember that being very big, but it was pretty.

Have you ever had to climb a ladder in a library?

I've always wanted to climb the ladders, but there's always a sign that says "staff only."

Same question.

Smuggler's Notch is lower than Mount Washington. Mount Washington has the highest elevation of all the northeast United States. And it's in the top 3 of all the area East of the Mississippi.

Yep....I climbed a ladder in a library. It felt a little unsteady.

Have you ever had to go up to the attic of a library, where it's really dusty?

No, but OMG I'd love that. I love attics and small spaces and libraries and climbing .... :study:

Have you ever been so tired after a vacation you can barely walk?

After I did 2 of the 3 Marathons, I felt like I could barely walk.

Do you feel a tinge of regret when you know your vacation is over?

No, not this time. I felt a sense of accomplishment. I managed a lot, considering I've been low on stamina and confidence lately. It was a challenge for my agoraphobia and for being in bright sunshine a few of the days. It was even a big deal for me to drive so far after four years of not driving from my stroke.

I think it was a fun celebration, but I'm very glad to be home in my private sanctuary. lol

Have you ever tried rug hooking?

I've seen it---never had a desire to try it.

I'm glad you enjoyed your vacation, Isabella :)
