I wasn't afraid of it. They never said my name in the Magic Mirror, though. That made me very upset.

I dreamt about being on the show, though.

Did you watch Sesame Street as an older kid----but couldn't tell your friends that you did?

I was obsessed with Sesame Street, but I don't think I watched the show for very long. I might have stopped when I was about eight or nine? By then I was busy collecting Muppet characters and writing scripts for Grover so I could move to NYC and work for The Children's Television Workshop with Jon Stone.

Sigh.

Did you like the "reality" montages in Sesame Street? (When they showed real urban children doing things?)

I thought that was sooooo cool. I wanted to live in NYC and be cool like them.

I liked the adults better than the kids. I liked the black woman the best. Mr. Hooper was sort of a crab.

I used to like it when Grover would be an assistant to a magician, who would say "A la Peanut Butter Sandwich." Or the time when Grover ate the soup.

I liked the Count.

Why did they get rid of Burt and Ernie and all of them?

Ever see "The Electric Company?"

YES the soup! There's a Fly in My Soup!

They got rid of them because they were crazy, obviously. :(

I was afraid of The Electric Company, if I recall correctly. It had weird sounds repeated.

Do you like peanut butter sandwiches?

Nope....can't stand peanut butter alone. Only with chocolate.

Mounds, or Almond Joy?

I don't know them.

Vanilla ice cream or Cherry Garcia ice cream?

Cherry Garcia.

In the US, when you say "Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't," it means you choose between Almond Joy and Mounds (which is a coconut chocolate bar).

Ever call peanut butter "groundnut paste"?

I wouldn't like the coconut one.

I actually don't know The Grateful Dead at all. Of course I've heard of them, but I don't know their music at all.

I've listened to them.

They tend to a play soft rock type of music.

They were one of the first psychedelic bands in the 1960s. They lasted until 1995, when Jerry Garcia died.

They got "Cherry Garcia" from Jerry Garcia.

Do you like psychedelic rock?

I remember being stuck in traffic outside Baltimore on a Friday, during rush hour, in the summer, with construction, when there was a Grateful Dead concert in town. I think I decided to dislike Grateful Dead by association!

We were driving from my uncle's in Philadelphia to Disney World.

Have you ever been to Baltimore?

I have. I've been to the Inner Harbor.

Ever see a show called "Roc"? Roc was a Baltimore garbageman who used to collect antiques from the garbage. It took place in Baltimore.

The Inner Harbour sounds nice.

No I haven't seen Roc.

Have you been to the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida?

No. Once upon a time I wanted to be an astronaut and eat freeze dried ice cream, but that dream died away. Now I have no interest in the Space Center.

Have you been to Buckingham Palace?

Several times, actually.

What is the most outlandish thing you've ever done on a date?

One guy took me to a crossdress shop so he could buy stilettos and dress like a dominatrix.
