When my cousin in Las Vegas wanted me to hook up with her husband.

When I had gone to a Turkish bath in Hungary, all my money fell out of my pockets in the changing rooms (unbeknownst to me). I hailed a cab and had him drive me all the way across the city before realizing I had nothing to pay him with. He was furious. But yours is worse!

I think you shared that story before! :(

No I haven't.

Ever touched an elephant?

Oops!

Yes I have touched an elephant and ridden one.

Have you ever sent back food in a restaurant?

The frown was because your story is sad, not because you repeated. I'm sure I've repeated before too!

I send back food if it's undercooked.

Have you ever made a sandcastle?

Yes, badly.

Are you a frequent hand washer?

Not more than necessary. I have a sensory aversion to putting my hands in water. :(

I have an aversion to even the slightest hint of stickiness, so I wash them constantly.

How do you take your coffee?

Black, or with a splash of milk.

How do you take your water? Room temp, cold, with ice?

I like it cold, but if there are ice cubes in it I tend to chew them up, which, it seems to me, must be somewhat unattractive.

What is a habit you're self-conscious about?

My dad chewed ice cubes!!

I'm self-conscious about the fact I can't sit in a normal posture. I have to be twisted up in crazy postures like a pretzel. There are more that I'm too self-conscious to share.

I'm self conscious about my smile (or lack of it). When I think I'm smiling, I have been told I am not, but any bigger grin feels like I'm laughing.

Do you know your neighbors?

Yes, I know one in particular. She's divorced and a little older than I am. She can be very chatty and hard to avoid when I'm feeling anti-social (which is always, tbh). :P The other neighbours are awful. I don't know their names but I know them by sight, and they're highly anal, highly critical and highly judgmental people. They tried to sue me when my cat walked across their garden. Case in point: the guy trims his entire lawn with manicure scissors.

Yes. There are only a few houses here on this mountain so yes. Well. Within about a half a mile anyway. Everyone does their own thing up here. The nearest neighbour is about a football pitch away.

Do you have a bicycle?

I used to have bikes, and I did a fair bit of mountain biking. I don't have one now though. I think my nephew might have one here?

Not for a very long time. I loved cycling as a kid, but the roads were very much quieter back then. My situational awareness is too poor to cope with traffic at all safely; I don't drive for the same reason.
