^ In music, that is.

Let's not forge the "Eddie Baby" sketch:

So funny, and precisely because it exposes just how absurd the cult of the Christian name becomes, when taken to its logical conclusion.

It depends on the song.

Do you find that jazz deserves full status as a musical art form?

Yes, though the closest I get to it myself is Shostakovich's Jazz Suites.

Do you enjoy petting other people's dogs in public?

Of course! And New Orleans Jazz is awesome. 8)

Have you ever been in jail?

I don't understand music theory at all, and don't know the difference. I'm surrounded by musicians in my life but I've never learned. I think someone told me minor keys sound sad?

Jazz is certainly an art form.

I don't touch people's dogs, although I admire them. I don't want people touching my dog, so I keep my distance.

I have never been in jail.

Nope.

Prefer minor keys and love petting people's dogs, though I always ask for their permission first.

What's your favourite card game?

Not sure if it counts as a game but... I like fortune telling with cartomancy! :D

I like playing penny-ante poker.

Did you ever play cards for money?

Low stakes Texas Hold Em poker.

Do you prefer Freud or Jung?

I never learned to play cards because I didn't do well with two person games. I never even played Old Maid or Crazy Eights. I did learn Poker very briefly but couldn't strategise quickly enough to play, and I don't remember how.

I prefer Freud. I know more about him. I started to learn about Jung on WP and would like to know more.

Finding partners was always my problem with games, too. I actually used to play poker with myself as a preteen - it didn't really work. Monopoly too - and cricket. I had no idea how weird I looked.

Jung was the better character (though still a nasty cad who got a kick out of humiliating his female patients), but Freud's theories are more powerful and compelling.

Tennyson or Wordsworth?

If only Freud didn't have such a damn big ego!

Jung was very curious, and he was a scholar with a very broad base of knowledge.

Still....I prefer Freud's theories. I'm not an "eastern" thinker at all.

Do you find Jung's theories to be very much in tune with "eastern" philosophy?

Yep. Jung became a weird mystic and stopped doing science.

Shelley, though I really rather despise both.

I prefer Shelley. Byron was just a guy who deserved to get his ass kicked.

(Yes, I know Shelley wasn't all that great either in terms of morality).

Do you believe Alexander Pope was amazing? He was around 4 foot 7, was hunchbacked, and had some major illnesses---yet produced some of the greatest English literature.

I'm not sure who that is.

Favorite Tom Hanks movie?
