I tried for auburn, but my natural color is too dark! I did bleach it once, but it grew out in a very short time.

A massive TV ( CRT ) I found in a skip , took it home and fixed it.

I held a baby octopus.

We have a beautiful duck aviary at the Seattle zoo. Colors and plumage I never imagined in species from around the world. There are pellets to feed them.

What is a skip, I wonder, Ferris?

Did you ever have a chemistry set?

I didn't but my brother did. He also had a telescope and all sorts of science things. He's an engineer now -- all the men in my family have been engineers.

Did you ever light fireworks?

Lots of times, but they have gotten so expensive! I don't mind the noise, but sometimes they're too bright for me.

Ever slept in a tent?

Yes! I loved sleeping in a tent as a child, just at home. As an adult I've also camped in isolated places including off-grid islands with no facilities, and access only by waterway. I went to a noisy "public" campground once, but I'd never do that again because it was too loud and social. I didn't see the point of camping with so many luxuries provided. I wouldn't be interested in camping any more, though. I want my comforts now!

What are you eating for your next meal?

Probably something light in the morning, because I'm going horseback riding afterward. Maybe some berries?

What's your worst memory of snow?

I have some frightening childhood memories which involve snow. There seems to have been non-family abuse involved, but I was very young and the memories are only brief flashbacks or sensory imprints. I was also afraid of trees with no leaves during the winter, but now I find them beautiful.

My brother once started pelting me with snowballs. I wanted to have a snowball fight, if only for aesthetic reasons, but it was cold and uncomfortable, and I couldn't keep up with him, so I ended up soaked.

What animal scares you the most?

That reminds me, my brother hit me with a snowball once too. We were at school and he thought he was being cool.
