No lice. Oddly, the older I get, the more nervous I am about it. I think I'm afraid my son will come home with them.

Does your dog ever sleep belly-up?

Lol yes. I call it "shameless self-promotion" when he does that. He's like a diva sometimes.

Does your dog have allergies?

He licks his paws a lot, which I have heard is a sign.

Do you like the toile motif?

I do, and I like damask as well.

My dog is allergic to beef, wheat, corn, duck, lamb, milk (cheese), and many other foods. He is on a strict chicken, pork and fish diet. Unfortunately our first vet mixed up his test results with another dog and told me the opposite when he was first tested. It's taken a few years to get his chemistry back on track.

Do you read all the forwards and editors' notes in novels?

I do tend to read those. They are very illuminating.

When did you get into literature so much that you started reading journal articles?

About 35 years ago, when I first discovered the Brontës. I've been reading literary criticism ever since.

When did you first feel like an adult?

When I got my own apartment.

Do you ever feel really chilled, like a popsicle (physically)?

Yes. You'll find me in bed a lot throughout the day because of it.

Which do you prefer to watch, gymnastics or figure skating?

Figure skating, although I like gymnastics as well - including the men's programs.

How has your day been today, out of ten?

I'd say 8. I've done nothing but WP and doze.

This is one of my first "do nothing" days since before my holiday, so I'm the same. I'm trying to finish my book but the lighting isn't quite right so here I am. I'd say it's been a 7.

Do you like to colour (in a colouring book)?

I do enjoy it, but I've been doing it less recently because it makes my hand hurt to try to keep it still for long enough with the tremor I have. Maybe I need to just do it for shorter periods of time, and try not to care so much if I go outside the lines because my hand is shaky. I used to find it very relaxing, when my tremor wasn't as bad.

Is there anything coming up in your life that you are looking forward to? If so, what?
