Zip line: yes.
Ethiopian food: I don't think so?
Serenade: only if lullabies count.

What is the next book you plan to read?

I received six new books last week, so I'll let you know within the hour. I'm just finishing a biography now and then I'll have to choose. I'll read a few pages of each in order to decide.

Do you consider yourself a fast reader?

When I get really inspired, I can read at least fairly fast.

If somebody offered you the Curateship of the Bronte Parsonage for life, and 30,000 Pounds a year, would you take it?

No, and I love to mark up the text as I go.

What is your favorite thing that you own but don't use?

A couple of paintings which I have been too lazy to frame.

Same question.

Do you like baba ghanoush?

8O (faints and dies)

My favourite thing I own but don't use is my copy of Wuthering Heights which was set on Emily's bed overnight, at the Parsonage. This was arranged for me by Ann, Rosie and Danielle at The BPM. I won't even touch the book, lest I hurt it or undo its energy.

I am a fast reader, but haven't found a book lately that would really interest me. I did see a young adult novel about a girl from Croatia that sounds interesting, because I have a special interest in the Balkans.

I knew Isabella would love the Bronte parsonage!

Favorite possessions I don't use might be my stuffed animal kitties. I'm too old to sleep with stuffed animals, but they're lovely to look at. The majority of my collection is made up of Siamese type cats.

Did anyone take up a sport at a later age? I was 50 when I first began tennis lessons.

I've officially chosen my next book:
MacEwan, Helen. Down the Belliard Steps : Discovering the Brontës in Brussels. Kent: Brussels Brontë Editions, 2012.

I've read excerpts of this before. The Brussels years are my favourite period of Brontëana. I'm going to need to reread Villette after this because it's undeniably brilliant, and Charlotte's manifesto.

Sport:
I started mountain biking when I was 30, but I don't participate any more.

same question re: sports
