Classical music, Classic Rock and Roll (1950s and 1960s) and light pop from the 1980s

I like anything that is lighthearted and fun.

Classical music, light pop and folk from the sixties and seventies (Fairport Convention, Cliff Richard, The Seekers, Peter Sarstedt, etc.)

Do you prefer roll-on or aerosol deodorant?

Roll-on. Aerosol is more likely to give me a headache from the scent / vapour.

same question

Exactly the same. I actually have to buy odourless, organic roll-ons especially.

Do you use incense sticks?

I don't, but I have dried sage which smells nice. I like to scent the house with dried potpourri which I make myself from organic ingredients, or potpourri made on the stovetop (for example: orange peel, cinnamon and nutmeg at Christmas).

After being bullied as a teenager for hyperhidrosis and involuntarily smelling bad as a result, I used to scent my school uniform with incense, leaving a stick of burning incense in the closet with my uniform in the morning while I showered for an hour (same reason). I enjoyed burning incense for its own sake, too. It would be torture, now.

Do you like prawn toast?

I've never had it. Things are less often flavored with prawns here in the US than in the UK.

Do you eat all organic?

That would be impossible, though a few years ago I got as close as I possibly could have. At the moment, maybe a third of what I eat is organic. I also make all of my hot drinks with mineral water, to avoid the nasty chemicals that get into the water supply - and to increase my mineral intake.

Does your mobile phone have physical buttons on it?

No. My mother has a flip phone with buttons. It's not a smart phone. She doesn't text and she's never used a computer.

same question about buttons.

My grandparents, aged 95 and 97, just bought a smartphone. They never used their flip phone because they couldn't figure out how to turn it on, but my grandma actually sent a text!

As a child did you ever eat something poisonous?

That's sweet about your grandmother!

When I was four I ate an entire bottle of Flintstone vitamins with Iron on a flight to Los Angeles, and I needed my stomach pumped. I have a congenital condition where my body has too much iron, so it was very dangerous to add more.

That’s great that your grandparents are still around and functioning at ages 95 and 97.

I don't ever feel bored. My mind is always active, and I read as much as possible. I enjoy being alone so quiet times are good, rather than boring.

I ate some poisonous mushrooms while on a wall with my mother and sister as a child. I had to be rushed to hospital. I can vaguely remember having a tube down my throat.

Do you wear rings?
