Tokyo or New Delhi (population)

Did you ever have a bicycle with a honking horn or bell?

My current bicycle has a bell. All good bicycles do.

What's your favourite accent?

I like Spanish accents. So energetic and musical.

Probably RP English. I tried to speak it myself from my early 20s to early 40s,with considerable success, but it was always a struggle.

What is your least favourite accent?

Fake American southern accents, like the kind actors use on TV when mocking us.

And I normally wake between 6:00 or 7:00

What are your thoughts on eating meat?

The estuary accent favoured by BBC radio presenters under forty.

My favourite accent is the kind of RP favoured by Public Schools until the 1960s or so, rarely heard today. Kenneth Clark, the one-time director of the National Gallery, best known for the monumental TV show Civilisation, is my favourite exemplar of this kind of RP:

I myself speak naturally with a more modern form of RP, into which some estuary elements have regrettably crept. My accent is still somewhat better than that of most ex-Public schoolboys of my generation, whose tones are now thoroughly estuary. Either way, I don't sound quite so patrician as Mr. Clark. My voice is also slightly lower-pitched than his.

I eat meat with no qualms whatever, and very little sympathy for those with such qualms.

Does the idea of attending a Latin Mass, even if out of curiosity alone, appeal to you?

Nope, I don't feel like I would be welcomed.

What's your favorite kind of meat? I like shrimp and crawdaddies (crayfish).

I attended Latin masses in the 1960s before they were phased out as a result of the 'Vatican 2' conferences. Would probably attend one or two out of nostalgia perhaps.

What do you think of the present Pope?

I think he's OK. He's trying to encourage people to be tolerant and not judge.

Now back to my meat question :chef:

Everybody on Earth is welcome at every Mass on Earth, but I'd suggest that somebody unfamiliar with the Order of Mass should attend one in his native language before he tries a Latin one.

My favourite meat is venison.

They've enjoyed a renaissance since Benedict XVI relaxed the rules on what parishes/priests could perform them. My parish doesn't offer one, but the two neighbouring parishes do. There's a website you can use to search for a local Latin Mass:
https://www.latinmassdir.org/

I'm totally obedient to Pope Francis insofar as I'm required to be, but I strongly preferred Benedict XVI, and also quite liked John Paul II.

Same Question.

Lost contact with Catholicism in 1968, but still regard myself as belonging to the community in some sense. Not sure I know enough about the present pope to have a meaningful opinion.

Chicken is my favourite meat, by a long way.

What is your favourite fish dish?

1968 - My father was one year old.

You shout get back if you can; it's a wonderful community. The present Pope is legitimate, but not conservative enough for my tastes. Benedict was much better.

What do you think about James chapter 2 and justification by faith?

I like Plaice (fried with breadcrumbs), Cod and Haddock (in fishfingers), Trout and Salmon.

Do you like shellfish, if so what kinds?

Edit: sorry, Prometheus, your post was too late for me, will look into that one and reply if I can...
