It would depend on the exact circumstances and who was crying, but I would find it very difficult to talk to the person and ask them what the problem was. I would also find it difficult to stand and do nothing. So in short my brain would overload and my head catch fire.

What is your reaction if a stranger stops you suddenly in the street stepping in front of you and saying "Excuse me..." and they clearly want something.

Depends on what follows after 'Excuse me.... '. I'm the sort of person that nearly always try to help others but it has to be a reasonable, lets say, wish of the other person.

Excuse me, could you paint the wood works of my house? Well, I can ((been a painter but hate doing it nowadays) but I will not. Bye-ya.

When someone begs you to give him/her some spare change, what is your reaction then?

Depends I'm usually charitable, but if I have nothing to give, then no means no.

Would you give up your current lifestyle in order to go to some remote and destitute village to help those in need in anyway you can?

About 5 years ago I seriously thought of going to Costa Rica to do voluntary work but after searching, seeking and looking (to emphasize the longness I did it here) the net the conclusion was it would cost me a lot of money. I was prepared to pay the flights but staying there with a bed available and food provided would increase the sum of the flights factor two (at least).

Actually thinking of leaving Holland again these days. (1984, the book, is common ground here nowadays)

Who guards the guards? What is democracy really and was there time before the Big Bang?

*cough cough*

Well, the question here is, would each of those three questions kill this thread for ages or not?

1) The judges

2) Democracy isn't anything really, because it doesn't exist. Parliamentary and Republican governments with free and fair elections exist--but those are a different beast.

3) No. Time-space has a definite (although as yet somewhat indeterminate) beginning. It is not possible to know what existed prior to that, becuase to know that would mean that those events could affect our position in space time, which results in a paradox. So even though something may preexist the Big Bang, and it may have had characteristics of space-time, it cannot be time as we experience it.

Or not.

What are your plans for the weekend?

My family is coming to visit me this weekend. They live in Houston, and I am in the San Antonio-Austin area.

What is your dream car?

A car that has a GPS guidance system that allows me to pinpoint my destination, and will drive the car for me.

Do you like sweet food?

Yep! Although I have a defined threshold for "sweet," however. I don't appreciate extremely sweet stuff, just the sweet and light ones.

What do you think other people perceive you?

I don't know how true my own perceptions are about myself, but I usually feel that people think I am a loser, and someone of no worth. I suppose that's how I feel about myself. :( Others always tell me I shouldn't feel this way, but I suppose I never listen.

How would you describe your relationship, with your parents and/or siblings?

Hmm... not as close as it should be, and not as close as it used to be. Of course, I love my family so much, but I find it hard to appreciate how they love me and to manifest my love for them.

Same question.

About a week.

Every summer I go to a summer place on one of the gulf islands. No electricity, no running water, no cell phone coverage.

There are challenges for me (that whole routine thing!) But thanks to good planning, I always have a blissful time!

~

Is there a routine that gets your day started? What is it?

Do you have stimming issues?

not very visible or disturbing ones i think (i do press my nails in the back of my fingers to name one), i also put my hands before my face(nose), that's probably a real issue (but i think i control that more when in public, although i'm not hundred procent sure)

what do you think when you see someone else stimming?

I feel a bit possessive, as if only I have the right to stim. Like when someone else bites their pen (which is my primary stim at work), I feel as if only I should be biting my pen.

Name your trademark stim.
