I've always been underweight, so I have a harder time gaining weight than losing it. I will say though that a ruptured appendix led to me dropping a few pounds just in the week that I was in the hospital.

Same query.

I am quite underweight. No idea whether I ever did lose weight.

i regularly goof with a baritone ukulele, tenor classical guitar, gulbransen theatrum home organ. did have a f-bass yamaha recorder at one time, never could get it to be in tune. in college, high school and jr. high i played bass/tenor tuba, Eb contralto clarinet, Bb bass clarinet, Eb alto clarinet, Bb [treble] clarinet, string bass, glockenspiel, drums, none particularly well. as for avocational equipment, i do digital audio restoration as a sideline, with much software used to that end, been doing it for the better part of 2+ decades now.

I tend to restrict my drumming to subway seats and desks LOL. I don't play any musical instrument.

Blabbs is a multi-instrumentalist; I'm sure he can create music that would, at the very least, appeal to the Abstract Expressionist school of music. And probably more serious musicians.

Yes, several:

Antique crank-wound phonographs 1909-1930ish,
Early electric appliances of the 1910s-1950s
Film cameras, 1923 to 1980s.
Typewriters, 1922 to 1930
Old records, 78rpm only
Old cylinder records (wax and resins)
Fountain pens
Two classic old Radios, from 1929 and 1938
Antique books.

Most of my things look like they escaped a museum and I live like a re-enactor at a living-history display most of the time. It's a pleasantly Aspie lifestyle--a life in textures, rough around the edges but genteel.

I collect 19th century British novels, particularly the Brontës, by whom I have multiple editions of the same books. I also collect works of literary history, literary criticism, literary biographies and poetry. My next biggest collections are vinyl albums (33 rpm), antique or vintage picture frames, souvenir spoons, and egg cups. :P

Thanks, MG. My house isn't as crowded as it sounds. I have a reading room / snug for my books and the antique photos. The spoons aren't very numerous (maybe 25?) and they're together on one display rack. I have about eight egg cups and would love more because I'm drawn to them, but I don't indulge. I have about 200 albums and they're in antique crates near the different turntables in my home. Most of them are from childhood and the 80s. I don't think I have any Cyndi Lauper.

Do you have any DVDs?

Do you have any trains?

No, but my best friend does. His father hand-built ships and trains much like you do. My grandfather had several trains, but they were lost to time after he passed.

Did you ever have a butterfly net, as a child?
