I agree with 886, I'm a little clueless when it comes to popularity. I think the reason the majority of my posts never get replied is due to my terrible skills in both word choice and organization. I try to keep my replies and posts simple but sometimes I just can't help it I guess.

The posts of yours I have seen always sound rather eloquent to me. :)

Wow thank you. I still hate the way my words come off especially when I speak. At least with typing you have more time to think and words don't come out right before you think. For a while I left WP because I didn't feel like I fit in or was as articulate as many of the members here. Actually it's like that on most sites but at least here there are people who can identify.

It does suck to post a well thought out reply and have no one respond to it. :| Maybe if my posts were more controversial I'd get more replies.

Hello :D

This is a great thread! My thoughts on popularity etc - I believe that in an ideal world we would all accept and embrace diversity, and be kind and polite towards others. I always try my best to do this - but then I am a bit of a hippy at heart I guess.

Welcome to the thread, from a fellow Garfield fan!

Hello everyone,

Just want to say hi and regarding popularity it seems that in a perfect world or near perfect world everyone's strengths would be used to advantage. It would be a truly boring place if everyone was the same and I am happy that not everyone is the same.

Where would all the great inventions be if everyone was exactly the same?

Hi everybody and thanks for the hi's and welcome. That's good: the 'raw honesty' description, goodwitchy.
I had a pretty good day today and even got work done on my painting.

Will make another note of that. Hey btw, you know of any good Irish recipes or meals? I'm wanting to making something on St Patrick's day but I don't have any ideas other than potato soup and soda bread.

Dear Sparx, So sorry not to have responded to your remarkably well thought-out post until now....I've been checking my hands and feet for webbing between the fingers and toes. I'm reasonably sure no females in my ancestry produced eggs instead of live births, but that would make a superb Family Secret, wouldn't it? Not sure whether or not any ancestors lived in underground burrows, but, again, that's not the sort of thing that one would casually share in conversation, I think.
Are we certain that more than one of our ancestors is not referred as Platipi?

Sylkat :?

Apparently there is no correct way to pluralise platypus. :?
