What is the largest miscommunication you have been in?

Ooh. That was years ago at the jobcentre where I assumed we were still talking about my hobby of model railways (DCC and DC are model railway terms referring to control systems) and the lady had moved onto talk about actual job experiences... I often don't realize when conversations have moved on... So I was talking about carpentry, wiring etc and she thought I meant I was a carpenter, an electrician... A painter.. It all weant pear shaped when she asked me if I do anything with people and I replied "Yes. I paint them". Everything I had said she was typing in on their new computer system. And when I said about painting them, she looked at me wierdly, and I looked back wierdly because I was puzzled too. I left that jobcentre interview being the most highly qualified and experienced 21 year old around! Haha!

Whats something you believed as a child that these days just makes for a funny story?

I believed in Santa Claus so much that I prayed to him every night of the year, thanking him for his magic and his kind heart. He actually got first dibs, before my obligatory Lord's Prayer. I guess that's not funny, but it's really cute.
